Bloods are a huge source of income from barrowing and not getting these makes it even more inefficiant :!: However i hear claws of guthix is good to use but have never tried because im scared of the mage arena.I can confirm that claws of guthix is a good spell, but I prefer to use it in cw during tet cw games :D A good bump for a good guide :D :^_^: I drew that smilie, btw, along with a few more used by this site.Classic bloodveld for lyph3! May 8, 200620 yr nice guide, thanks for the tip about the unholy symbol you might want to add that if you get a brother in the tunnel and you have a halberd, you can go to some of the safespots, this saves runes, prayer pots because you don't need pro frm melee and runs a lot lower risk of dying because the melee bros can't attack you I support jerk173 going for 99fish and cook! The reason being is that the Barrows Brothers have little to know Mage defense, and since we both have 88 Mage we could easily hit them every time in Rune Armor :roll: . The Bro's just have an extreme weakness against Magical attacks, which is why it appears that Magic Dart is unaffected by bonuses. Try using other spells, 'cause you're going to get the same results. [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.

The only thing which dramatically increases effectivness is not using bloods, and prayer level. The higher the prayer level the more cost effective. May 15, 200620 yr hey there i'm not so low-levelled anymore, but i've been doing barrows since about 80 combat (100 now)... i used to take 6 prayer pots there, i probably had 50-ish prayer. now i'm at 61 and i find that every level makes a difference. i sometimes only use 2 pray pots now, praying on every single brother. my tip to all of you out there: do lots of barrows runs. as you get more and more comfortable with it, you'll bring less gear, spend less money and eventually you'll start to make back your prayer potion money from chaos rune drops alone, as i do if you need some prayer levels, make sure you do ghosts ahoy. the ectofuntus really helps out for prayer levels. for instance, from level 43 prayer to 44 requires only 19 dragon bones. if you go for 1 or two runs to the green dragons in wildy, even three iteming with some leather boots and gloves and a full invent of lobbies, you can get that many bones. the ectofuntus is a great helper for barrows remember that you have to keep at it to really make the moolah. my first 11 runs i didn't get anything, and i was really down on myself, and even on my 12th run i only got an ahrim staff... now i make some better cash, for instance, two verac helms and a dmed 2 runs apart :lol: anyway, remember what i said. keep at it and do everything you can to raise your prayer level

And stop whining about your first 11 runs :roll: . Some people didn't get their first item 'til their hundreth run. Also, no one expect to have this noobs insane luck of 1 item every 5 chests. You will have dry streaks, some long some short, just let them pass and eventually you'll get an item. If you do everything right you will also still make a nice profit without getting items (I've got thousands upon thousands of Bloods and Chaos stocked just from the Barrows :mrgreen: ).
