Golvellius
you dont need a hammer read the event more carefully, equiping the axe is sufficient Isnt. Used a log on bridge with axe in inventory. Got message need both hammer and axe in inventory to fix bridge. Couldn't find a hammer on that side anywhere. Equip the bronze axe you get off the zombie, chop 3 logs from the dead trees, use the 3 logs on the broken bridge.

Y2g2003
*shrugs* The rewards don't look all that bad... The only two that look pretty pointless is the Wildblood rewards and the bowstring rewards. Wouldn't know why Jagex would bother to add bowstrings as a reward when they are openly available to nearly anyone (and really don't take long to get/make). The Wildbloods seem pointless just because I doubt many people plant them... let alone use them for brewing. Not only that, but their also easier to get else where. The herb reward and lobs rewards seem to be the best to me. The lower herbs can be sold off to those who would make better use of them, while the higher levels could keep the Toad Flax. And the lobs would make up for some of the food used when doing the mini game (and its a bigger bonus if your cooking is high enough so that you can't burn them). Only other stand out reward would be the Rune Essence, while the coal and silver are not that great, but not all that bad either. Thats my take on the item rewards, at least. Unitedite
Anyone want to sugggest a rough combat level for each of the three paths? Or is the difficulty level less about combat and more about intelligence? In a little hilltop village they gambled for my clothesI bargained for salvation and they gave me a lethal doseI offered up my innocence, I got repaid with scorn"Come in'', she said, "I'll give you shelter from the storm"
uk_dragon1
are there any other quests you need to do (except for the new one) to do this mini game, and are the any skill requirements or recomendations?
captainpoet
The rewards aren't that bad on the lvl 3 ones if you use the old man or the child...i prefer the child though for bigger rewards. The rewards I've got by taking the child on the 3rd route though are. 30 bowstrings (weird i know lol) 242 bowstrings 40 raw lobs 80 raw lobs 76 silver bars 153 silver bars 552 rune essence. Just be sure to stock them up with about 10 lobs before you journey and I wouldn't be suprised if you can put armor and weapons on them about iron in quality...the best food you seem to be able to give them though is lobs, since swordfish didn't work, sharks, good potatoes, and pizzas didn't work either. Y2g2003
I would imagine that sharks would be somewhat pointless for the lower level companions anyways. Depending on what their HP is, it could actually be a waste of sharks. Wouldn't give em anything but lobs myself as well, unless that proved to be a total failure. Not really something I'll have to worry about, seeing as though I wont be doing this game anytime soon (if ever). R.I.P Shiva

Fire_Slyzer
are there any other quests you need to do (except for the new one) to do this mini game, and are the any skill requirements or recomendations? You need the new quest Aid Of The Myreque, and for doing that quest, you need to do In Search of The Myregue. I think high combat is highly recommended :D and for the quest i donnot now exactly, you need to kill a level 97 for the in search of the myregue but thats pretty easy. And for the Aid of the Myregue the requirements are very low QP cape (20 october 2007)
Lord-kain1
okay im normlay up for mini games and this sounded awsome but this is more [developmentally delayed]ed then the simple life.. the ghasts are level 109 the vampires are level what 110? and they can only be hurt by silver weapons? plus thier immune to entangle? thats dumb i had 5 of them on me and i jsut couldnt get the 6th one off of the old man who was lucky enough to get a bunch of 0s before getting 3 hit they need to do something to make it more worthwhile unless they just want another unused mini game like trawler LK1 this random comment brought to you today by ADD: ADD, bringing random entertainment to all for generations

archimage_a
Ok I have used the middle route about 20 times and have got: 400+ silver 500+ coal and iron A fishing tome(that was blue and gave 7k xp...I do realise that sounds impossible but there you are) 1 Giant Snail Shell(Im only lvl 76 and it is currently useless and in the future if it becomes usefull there is no other players to steal it from you) 23 Snake skins You do only need an axe for the bridge I took: 10 potatoes with cheese A knife A sickel A Drag hally(good for Ghasts and Sometimes snakes) The Gallhammer(thing, which is really useless and I just ran away from the shades cos it was easier) A Rune Axe A Rod of Ivain(I never used it) 2 guthix of Balance(4 dose) That was it really. Once the mini-game is complete go to behind the bar in Canifis, open trapdoor go to the fathest exit, board the boat, arive in mortton walk to the village, then bank the token, then start over. Average time to complete 2nd route: 7 minutes Snakes: Get them all into one space then place your other in the middle, then D hally( The spec tricks the Computer into thinking you are muti-ing them so it doesn't attack your friend) Snails: Protect from range and Kill in best way to suit you( trap your friend where they can't kill them) Shades: Run because the start point is just there Ghasts: use what is on the floor or friend to block them while using hally Vamps: use your rod and hope you have protections and hit high, then use guthix of balance when they are under half health to finish them off(unsure of this) Sea monster: Kill with food and maybe prayer: go after the tentecals first: then the head(unsure) Swamp: Use knife with bush next to the swamp then :Use sticks(that you just got) to test the ground (or just go until you fall in) and record where to go(changes event to event) River: Use knife with tree with vines(three times) use the short ropes togehter: then use with the tree with the long branch: then cross Bridge: Cut down 3 of the dead trees(axe from Zombie or otherwise): then equipt the axe(unless you have hammer in inventory, not recommended because it takes up space, and weight): then use the logs with the bridge's gap. Thats pretty much all the guide you will get so they. http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts. captainpoet
okay im normlay up for mini games and this sounded awsome but this is more mentally challenged then the simple life.. the ghasts are level 109 the vampires are level what 110? and they can only be hurt by silver weapons? plus thier immune to entangle? thats dumb i had 5 of them on me and i jsut couldnt get the 6th one off of the old man who was lucky enough to get a bunch of 0s before getting 3 hit they need to do something to make it more worthwhile unless they just want another unused mini game like trawler LK1 The juveniles although are immune to the damage of ice spells are far from immune to the effects of being entangled. Thus, it's very useful in protecting the person you are escorting...especially if you're using ice blitz or ice burst.
kdb148
The silver bar and iron and coal rewards sound pretty damn good. How long does it take, on average, to complete the hardest trip? Check out this cool browser gladiator game!
Creaphis
What's the gadderhammer's effect against shades? I gave mine away. I actually managed to get through the hardest route with NO fighting once, just one stream crossing. It wasn't a very big reward, though. I'm done with this minigame, I just wanted to try it a few times. I mostly got coal and iron rewards.

I'm done with this minigame, I just wanted to try it a few times. I mostly got coal and iron rewards. The gadderhammer just hits better, more accurate and harder, on shades than other monsters. At higher lvls though, it's just too slow to be used. Combat 116+; Total 1900+; All Hard Tasks; (Nearly) All quest points; (Nearly) All skills 60+; An aquatic moose ninja.Currently: Using 63 hunter to get some of those "Chins", then I'm going to range stuff down. Interruptions of agility when I feel like it, as well. And lucky enough to get 4 Dragon and 6 Barrow Drops.[hide]Kwimbob now looks exactly like me in real life except for hair color. Yes, this means I look exactly like the protagonist of that certain anime that my second character, Faye_V is also named after. Yes, I bought a jacket that also looks like his. No in real life I don't have a slain bear to sling over my shoulders. Yes, I'm that skinny even if I no-life it for years in basements. No, I can't shoot a gun. Yes, I can win any other strategic video game you have never played - because I probably have, ahahaha. And yes, I also have brown eyes, yet one of my eyes looks different from the other. And yes, I'm completely oblivious to the [real] world around me as I constantly engineer new solutions to daily problems in my head. When I get hungry, all that isn't food can wait. Nanosauromo
So, In other words, It's a long, difficult, slow, pointless minigame. Typical Jagex. I thought they had hit an all-time low with the blast furnace and the rat pits, but I guess I was wrong. eev
The point wasn't easy exp. The point was a different way to get it, for those not serious on leveling. I do think they could change the bowstring and wildblood rewards though.
