April 2, 200620 yr I don't care how foolish, idiotic, dumb, or wierd this sounds but.. I truly think Mystic robes help in the rate of fishing. Fishing is my favorite stat, and also is the way I make my income - so I tend to fish a lot. While at the guild this one day, a friend told me he was finding that he would catch sharks more often if he was wearing mystic robes. So I gave it a try, and to my suprise - I saw a difference. Im catching sharks faster! Hoooray for Mystic robes! Anyone else exprience this? No flaming - :lol: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ok, I devised a way for me to know for sure. Everyday for a week, I will fish 1 hour of wearing mystic robes, and 1 hour of wearing nothing. I'll record the differences, and post them for your analysis. April 2, 200620 yr i'm 56 fishign and i fish lobs so slow. i think after i get the cash i'll buy a set of full blue mystic and see if it helps. THen i'll sell it for higher in the spirit of merchanting :D Doing a little bit of everything

April 2, 200620 yr some ppl claimed they were catching fish faster while wearing NOTHING (no def bonus)... well mystic has no def bonus neither (on melee) ... PERHAPS that is the reason why you MIGHT catch them faster then when you wear rune or dragon or ... golden cw :lol: just a thought

April 2, 200620 yr Jagex has never gave any information about a fish catching-boosting-gear. Mystic armour is suposed to be for mages, not fisher(wo)men. I do agree with you who say it is all between your ears. Like I always say, time is relative and 'feels' different at some moments. Time flies when having fun!
April 2, 200620 yr i havn't tried the mystic armor, but i did see an increase of getting logs and getting fish faster while wearing no armor.. weird
