If you could get rid of any Rule/Restriction/Regulation

Featured Replies

If you could get rid of any rule/restriction/regulation in runescape, which would you choose? I'd pick the rule where you can't have any interaction between two of your own accounts. I'd also get rid of the 60 second restriction to log onto a different world. On a side note, I'd also like for people to go back to be able to power mine, power fish, power woodcut, etc. I wouldn't care if you had to click again and again after each fish or log you receieved after your inventory is full. Also, try to keep it realistic, Jagex would obviously not get rid of the 'no macro' rule.

Back to P2p soon!

I'd make it so that RSC would be open to everyone again.

for me it would be the "no ad blocking one" i have an ad blocker and i feel guiltey fro breaking the rule. but my netork administrator (aka my brother) says touch beans the ad blocker stays. so i guess its not my fault.

the censor that blocks stuff when i have never used profanity in the last 3 years and neve online. well it should not apply to me you cant even say "sophomore" it comes out as "sop****re" sopre yeah thats reall descriptive...

thats my soapbox

I would make a less strict filter. Today I was telling my friend how to do the Easter event, I had to say "Go on top of a hole to and eat the speical egg" but it came out "Go on top of ****** and eat the speical egg."

You cant say a hole

(means wagon)

"The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is."

amen

Trading real life items for runescape stuff. Then I'd probably play more than once a week.

I'd allow players to trade between their own accounts.

Yeah the exact same thing happened to me.

The filter should be definitely removed except for bad language.

Drop trading with your own account.

I understand why they wouldn't want two accounts on at the same time, but drop trading should be allowed. It's like having a drop party. Once it's dropped, it's fair game to other players, but why not your own secondary player? In fact, the "risk factor" would be a fun element, because you'd have to find out-of-the-way places to conduct your "trades" so your other account can get to them before looters.

that is exactly how it works today anyways, the only difference is the "risk factor" is upped a little bit.. you can potentially be banned lol.

It would have to be the language filter. I can understand some words, but words like "crap" or things like that don't need to be banned.

definitly the interaction with 2 accounts. If not that then drop trading should be allowed. and secondly their apeal team.

1. I'd drop the language filter.... or make it optional at least. There's nothing more annoying than saying something only to have it blanked out with stars when you haven't even sworn.

2. I'd also like to see something where you have to approve people to add you to their friends list. I don't like it when someone you've never spoken to before suddenly pm's you (when you are on completely different worlds so it's not like it's someone who you are stood next to or something.) It would just be nice to know who has you on their lists lol.

I agree with the RSC one too. I tried to log back onto it a while ago and found I couldn't. I thought it was still open to members, but it seems not if you haven't logged back in within a certain time period. :(

I'd bring RSC back. I hate the game but I know lots of people like it. If it pleases the comunity it will please me.

I'd also make the filter only block actual swear words and website address. Nothing like d1k blocked really annoying when trading you say ' I need 1k more for ~~~' damn it's filtered...

Bring back the old whip special.

"Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"

Asking personal information, I can understand if it is repetitive and you don't want to answer. So it should be ban by descretion, not some program banning every person who is reported..though I don't get reported. :P
