For people wondering about the chat lag:

 

You know how your chat used to appear immediately when you said anything? Naturally it wasn't appearing so fast to other players. Now you've got a delay before you see it, just like they have.

 

 

 

I think this will take a bit of getting used to. It's not a bug though, just a weird feature.

im not the only one then, dang i wished they tacked on a little quest to... im burning 9600 willow logs and a small break from it would be golden. but ive done alotttt of things in this game something to break up the patern would be so well appreciated

Hmmm, I was hoping that they would increase the no. of people able to be on a server at one time, or at least for worlds 1-6 which are nearly impossible to get on!! Still though, can't complain when they make improvements!!

I still lag when I turn music on, not that i'm particularly bothered. Still play without any sound on low detail. The chat lag is a little annoying, but in a few days we'll all be used to it I suppose.

Oh, but you have to realize how much they worked on this...to them, I'm sure this was worth as much as a month of content update because it's so valuable to the future.

 

 

 

Sometimes updates like this are necessary. We get content updates almost every other time...occassions like this are necessary to the health of the game.

The ADs on F2P are now runescape related, kinda reminds of the good 'ol days of RSC...

Does anyone else experience lag in the graphics when you first log in?

 

 

 

This update will definately be worth while for jagex in the long run. 90% of cheaters will be gone now.

 

 

 

Hopefully this new engine makes it possible to implement the new carpentry/construction and POH features.

The "Lag-Chat" kinda creeped me out at first, wasn't expecting somthing like that, lol...But now after about 2 minutes, it's nice. Bloody, now people won't know what to do for killing Dagganoth Prime. The Solution people, TURN ALL SOUND OFF. That lets you even play in High Detail :).

I got one while banking. The game froze and it came up with a black screen saying i had found a bug in the game and that if i occured again i should report the problem.

I was browsing the official forums a bit to see the standard reaction to the new update there. And what a surprise. It was full of capitalization and people saying jagex should think first, and people that are going to quit etc.

 

 

 

Sometimes I really feel ashamed of my fellow runescapers. You would think this big effort towards making runescape pure again would be welcomed. But all they can think about is themselves and some little problems that aren't problems.

Jagex truely need to fix this update though, Farming 2.0. Oh the lead up, people anticipating the update with months of work put in for it to turn out just like this.

This is insane, I lag terrible!

 

So im in wildy, Everybody has lag (I see people dying with the last word: lag. all over)

 

 

 

The most people log out then, but I allmost managed to pk a rscimmy, so i continued. And there it is, i got killed.

 

 

 

And when I click it responds in 2 seconds, wich was 0 before the update.

 

 

 

I hope Jagex will improve this, but I think it has to do with Internet Explorer...

Why don't you download the windows client made by runescape?

lol!! jagex's own client for the game does not work properly, lag and no music.

 

 

 

but on firefox it rocks no lag, sound and animations

I don't have any lag at all, infact it's running perfectly!

 

 

 

But maybe my new 20 Kbps internet conenction is helping with that :P
