May 31, 200620 yr Rawrr.. So, I'm hanging out training agility today in the wildy. Unarguably the best agility experience you'll find in this game since no one was cool enough to add it to the pest control list.. Hey, I think I need to post that idea in suggestions forum.. But ANY-WAY.. I'm running around in circles like a chicken with its head cut off.. Except a little more organized-like, showing off my pretty dd(p) that I pk'ed a few weeks ago on this same course, and thinking to myself how cool the History Channel is. I'm minding my own business, trying to get to 70 agility (sidenote, I started at 64 today, up to 68 at the moment, yay), and I notice my movements have come to a screeching halt. Now, this puzzles me, because the only other companion I have had for the past hour is a nice little fella with the same gear as me, certainly no entangle/bind runes.. Odd. Being 104 combat, I'm certainly not impervious to the dangers of this wilderness area, so I quickly struggle to gain my senses back. I'm looking at my health bar, its around 60/85, I'm okay. I glance around the screen to see a nice fella in perty robes.. Oh, he just cast ice barrage on me.. Yeah, that 24 kinda hurt.. Hmm.. I'm kind of taken aback, there is actually an ancient mage trying to kill me for the 7 monkfish in my pack.. I do some quick in head calculations and am pretty sure the runes he just used are worth well more than my fish, so I just continue to glance at my screen. 2 dds specs from his friend and it hits me, this guy actually PM'ed a friend to come cast an ice spell on me in the agility course.. Wtf? I quickly eat a fish and take the time to casually ask why they're wasting their time.. No response.. Oh, hey, I"M FREE! I quickly consider just sitting there and dying, but then refuse to give them the satisfaction of my hard earned monkfish (not really, anyone else realize how insanely easy these things are to fish?), so I quickly chow down on a few peices of snackfood and takeoff. I run across the balance beam, sort of do a little dance wondering if the mage can still hit me from across the beam (he can't, w00t), and then its off to the races. I quickly climb my tired toosh up those rocks and run as fast as I can without touching any of the obstacles. Oddly enough, if the mage had just turned around and starting running the reverse way of his friend, they would have had me in the old classic pincer move. But I guess that is what this thread is about... I am calling all agility pk'ers to answer the simple question: Are my monkfish really that valuable? I mean heck, I KNOW I'm cool, I didn't know everyone else was sooooo obsessed with me as well though. I'm sorry, the reason I have 63 or something prayer is so that I can protect one of those fishies along with keeping my dds, so what exactly is your motivation? Hehe, I think writing this all up has taken enough time for my little friends to move along.. Back to training =]
May 31, 200620 yr Can you teach me? But I'm sure you'd have to charge. Intriguing story. It made me think about going off to the Wilderness course to train up some Agility. Very nicely done.
May 31, 200620 yr *claps* Very well written! Very funny and I really love how you manage to sqeeze in a lot of true things! Should be in Leesters' Archive O' Wisdom! :D I do English to Japanese and Japanese to English translation for free! Just keep it under 5 sentences, and PM me to use my fluency in Japanese to your advantage!
May 31, 200620 yr Author Wow jive, you sum up my words so eloquently.. It makes me cry to see my post inspire such greatness. :P Yeah, the forums got really laggy for me, might have something to do with it lol.. And thanks Erk. That means a lot to me =D
May 31, 200620 yr ya i hate agil but i go up there way better xp than arena but whenever i start to get pked i jus run over put on protect for whatever there doin put on ultimate relfexes and str and spec them 4 times hopefully dead or close to or i didnt do anythin then i run around tryin to get away but one time this guy i guess he thought this fun i thought it was quite funny to he jus stood out side of gate and would entangle me every time i came lose and he said he would pk ppl at agil for fun not for the reward
May 31, 200620 yr You should see them go after the level 55 with Cakes, an agility pot, and a Rune Scimatar, I got Tbed, Barraged, dd Speced by two different people...Free Cakes pl0x?
May 31, 200620 yr n64, wat are you talking about?? And watever it is, take it out, took like 15 minutes to actually load the post screen. Anyway, on topic, yea i agree...its a little bizzare. What are the gaining except a deficate of cash. When i'm trainin at course i do one of three things dependin on where i am. Either, let them kill me but eat all of my food. Go running around ramp and other obsticles. ANd my personal favorite...hide in the place where u fail the monkey bars and wait. Click for mah Blog!- I'm not sure why you would though because i never update it Achieved 99 Thieving 3/10/07-992nd to it
May 31, 200620 yr It would be so funny if there was only one of them and you kept going back and forth throughout the course evading them :>
May 31, 200620 yr mod removed it for me...i dunno, maybe its just a bug...it was codec that popped up when i opened this post..and i tried like 3 diff. times said a lot of scary things, that indeed had me worried

May 31, 200620 yr So, I'm hanging out training agility today in the wildy. Unarguably the best agility experience you'll find in this game since no one was cool enough to add it to the pest control list.. I have to disagree. At 75 agility, you stop falling at the Ape Atoll course so you never need to use food. This means you can carry a full load up super energy restores and not have to worry about Pkers and them wasting your food or killing you. I vote Ape Atoll to be the best Agility experience you will find in the game (after level 75). 136 Combat, 2290+ Skill Total
May 31, 200620 yr i pk i pk their but i dont go their 2 pk when i go train agility i always bring a dd(s) , and black draghide. i train agility....but if i get bored i simply attack any one i want....mostly likely killing them because of gear, food, pray but thats just when i get bored. i never go their while on pk trips, or just to intentionally kill 2 ... just when im training my own agility because i can :D
May 31, 200620 yr Many pkers are completely content with just creating an inconvenience to other players. And hey, let's face it, there's a lot of people who are dead bored on RS2, so there's really nothing shocking about this whole ordeal. Jagex wouldn't have put the course in the Wild if they didn't think a few low-lifers would try and get a few cheap kills every now and then.
May 31, 200620 yr I got a dds from soeone pking there ^_^ (he was training agil also) Droolman's item Guide | My RuneScape pictures | My barrows videos, with download link!Free Image Hosting! | Free File Hosting!
May 31, 200620 yr You wonder if your monkfish are that valuable to pkers. You forget that your average pker is not very smart, for sure not the sharpest knife in the drawer. So, those thoughts can't find their way into their dull little minds. If the pkers had anything at all going for them, well, they wouldn't be pkers now would they?

Thanks for the great tip, might actually continue onto 75 then after I get 70.. *hugglez* Lol.
May 31, 200620 yr Did the pkers know that all you had was monkfish? NO At MB I killed a person with nothing on and I got 250K (not that much, but other people have gotten much more). Its the wildy and you are at risk always, if it bothers you train at gnome or sumthing ;)

Its the wildy and you are at risk always, if it bothers you train at gnome or sumthing ;) No, they probably didn't but, if you're running in repetitive circles with only a weapon, I wouldn't think you're holding a party hat set or anything valuable... I do English to Japanese and Japanese to English translation for free! Just keep it under 5 sentences, and PM me to use my fluency in Japanese to your advantage!

Its the wildy and you are at risk always, if it bothers you train at gnome or sumthing ;) You honestly think I'm sitting there training agility with 250k in my invet? Thats just plum stupid, lol. At mb, there are all types of people. From pkers to skillers to treasure trailers.. People go to wildy course for one reason, you are only likely to receive 1 reward, and that is generally food of some sort, usually cakes. I know people kill other skillers there for food without banking, I can understand that completely, it even makes sense to me, but there is nothing in that course to warrant ancient magicks, lol. Its overkill and you're not going to get any return on your investment.. Oh well, maybe someone finds it fun, just not up my alley.
May 31, 200620 yr For some players (Myself Included, I have 160 santas :D ) money is not an object. They saw no one around and were probably killing you out of sheer boredom. I don't kill skillers but I so do love to kill those pesky one itemers who are "just watching" until the moment you are about to get a kill and have 40 hp left....
May 31, 200620 yr It's fun to kill people. And it's not about the money, it's about keeping the wilderness a dangerous place. Want to learn to Nex? The Nex Hunters are recruiting! Click for more information!

Unless its Zezima, I'd thnk they could find something better to do with their time, but maybe thats just me. I look at it with a certain contempt, kids who are level 80 something are simply trying to come PK me so they can brag they killed a level 100+ ... Huh? How stupid is that lol. Of course you killed me (if you got lucky), I'm wearing my tutorial island suit. :P
