Imperial_120 Posted June 1, 2006 Share Posted June 1, 2006 Well im sick and tired of going to the washroom or something and comming back seeing that my account has been logged out and im sure some of you are too. well ive been thinking.. what if there was a pause button ! that would make it alot easyer to leave and not come back in a hurry wondering if your account had been logged out. so.. what do you think ? If someone trades with you, instead of the whole, "Person is busy..." or something, you get "Other user is currently paused." Anyone who tries to PM you gets the same thing. Of couse, there deffinetly has to be limitations, like no pausing in wild, no pausing within 10 seconds of combat, and such. Anyway, I've thought about something similiar to your suggestion before, maybe an additional log out button that doesn't do things like kick you out of your house, make you re-enter your bank pin, and the like. However to prevent accidental use of it, after 5-10 minutes you should revert back to being regularly logged out. I think that'd be quite useful. Imagine reading through the the whole post and realizing that 5 people have said that it wouldn't be able to be paused in the wilderness? I think it would be extrememly convienient, But it would have some downfalls for the economy. Alot of people lose items due to not paying attention or leaving the computer. It wouldn't have much affect on the economy but it would make runescape much less risky. Say you're on tip.it and reading posts, All you have to do is pause ol' runescape and you're completely safe.
