Well i recently brought a cannon. Got 1.5k cannon balls, and went rock crabs and praticed. Some of the words i was called:

So what are your opinions? Should cannons be aloud?

The help with slayer!!! Most people get mad cus they cant get alot of kills. But dont worry, who cares about them :lol:

If I could buy one, I'd buy one. If that makes me a noob for having a very powerful and useful tool then that's what I'll be. I'd take the name calling for a cannon.

those whining are usually those that can't afford a cannon themselves, so don't be bothered and use it as much as you can.

 

 

 

and it can good sides, i once was at the dagannoths at the lighthouse and since i was hitting all dags they were all after me, and none of the people there needed food for a while :D they were happy

I've never used one as i try to maximise the melee exp i get, so i don't really see the need to use one.

Personally, I love mine. I don't think I would take it to the rock crabs, the drops suck. I usually use my cannon at the blue dragons, or for slayer when the drops are half way decent.

Ive never owned one, but, I can say that I do get a bit angry when someone sets one up when Im training there. I dont really call them a noob or anything, I just tell them to switch worlds. Then they start calling me a noob.

If you can afford them, theyre great. If people dont like, they can world hop.

its great range exp, but even better slayer exp. it makes your trip to 85 slayer so much faster

I own one, and i do get called a noob alot, but frankly i dont really care. It speeds up slayer, and is decent range exp, although i miss out on the hp exp =\

The problems with cannons is this: Some people set them up specifically for the purpose of annoying others and driving them away so they (the cannoneer) can have the training spot all to themselves. This bugs the hell out of me as it is not in the spirit of the game, and it is just plain being a jerk. I could easily afford 15 cannons and i choose not to use one of personal preference, but this still bugs me a lot. :evil:

I had one for a while. Only used it twice as the balls took so long to make. The range exp/ time ration was amazing though. 50-55 Range in about an hour.

people can just hop, anyways your paying for c balls aren't even close to cheap.

I'll be one of the ones calling noob if its a lvl 80+ at rock crabs. Most of the times it is pures at rock crabs that can't train at many other places. If you are a higher lvl, leave them their place. You can take dagganoths, which is by far the best cannon place in the game.

Yawn. The cannoneer is paying 200 per ball. He deserves the use he gets out of it. If someone sets up shop where you are located, feel free to be annoyed but you'll save yourself plenty aggravation if you just hop worlds.

 

 

 

Nobody with a cannon sets out to find an occupied place and drive you out, they just in some cases have hopped once already and don't care to hop again.

 

 

 

Cannons are a part of the game, are in the spirit of the game, and you aren't a jerk for using it.

 

 

 

I doubt I would have achieved my skill of 99 slayer without it.

 

 

 

Its just like tele runes, praying in the wilderness, and pking weak people you encounter in the wilderness. ITS PART OF THE GAME.

Most people don't like cannons because they either can't afford em or complain and whine instead of switching worlds when somebody brings a cannon to their favorite training spot.

What? What's nooby about a cannon? I believe they just can't afford one themselves.
