the effects of new spells on cwars???

with these new spells people can cure people surrounding them or a certain person by sacrificing some of there health!

 

with this people can stay alive in cwars if they have people casting these spells by them during the game..

 

 

 

say you just k0ed the person who grabbed your standard and picked it up..you call your teammates over who happen to have those spells..you realise you have 20hp left and no bandages! what will you do..instead of getting killed your friend can then heal you then use some of their bandages to get themselves back to full health...

Depends on how much health it gives...certainly it would help a bit, especially if you had a lot of people doing it, but then again if you had a lot of people using bandages on the person that would help too. But we'll see just how health it gives to the other person.

I'm not wasting my runes to save other people...I already use my bandages and nobody ever helps me... -.-

i say dont worry about it...wats gonna be more annoying is the super ring of recoil spell if its as powerful as i think it is

Its not a spam post. Yes, healing was already possible, but not via this method.

 

 

 

Id say the effect will depend on the cost of the new rune. If its cheap like a body rune (which i highly doubt), it will be used for fast, cheap experience, and will effect cw's. However, if it is like a death or blood rune, people wont waste it at castlewars, and people will stick to bandages.

I Think this would be useful, we don't have to take as many bandages, and it heals others. Same with that poison cure....

this isn't neccesarily about cw, but would a vengence spell cast before a duel still carry over into the duel? if so..... big difference there

yeah, he's deffinetly a little excited...dont worry its not a glitch...d legs are meant to stretch in that area for that reason.

it would mean the people holding the flag will stay alive for longer so a lvl 100 can get the flag at the start of the game and people just keep healing it will be ruined

The healing spell can be comparable to the healing others with bandages, a spell that really can and has made a difference in CW is the ice burst/barrage and those haven't ruined CW.

I dont think it will make a big difference. Just you might get killed a lil more lol.

nothing.... cuz the heal is drained of yours... you can use your heal stuff on other players to heal them already... and you need more runes then you save with anti posion...

You forget that you can use bandages on other players to. :wink:

 

But these new spells will be more fun in CW. :D

But you forget that I have not heard of any drops of these runes yet. So it is different in that part.

well these are going to be more plentiful then bloods so im expecting around the same price of cosmics really as they only do 1 task just like cosmics :XD:

 

that will make them useful and possibly good for people who dont want to get prayer for ancients or cant afford it but still want to use decent magics

im soo waiting for the day when these new spells will be as common as ice barrage ect is now. Any predictions when this happens, when a good part of rs has done quest?

The new spells can heal a lot of damage, from the looks of it. 75% of your health.

 

 

 

Flag-carrier has 20 hp

 

 

 

Healer has 80hp

 

 

 

Healer sacrifices 60hp

The amazingly high mage requirement means that cw will be barely affected, I think.

now I cannot say for certain, but every other spell that affects something not in your inventory can be cast a set distance away...so the advantage of this (if it does what I think it does) over bandages is that you can heal your friends over distances. So say that you see someone running towards your base bearing the enemies standard and you are a mage up on the wall. Say they have little health left (and you deffinately dont want them to die) so you cast the spell on them as they are running towards you to keep them alive till they get inside.

 

 

 

As for the vengance thing, I can see that being very nasty. Just put on a ring pf recoil, cast vengance and attack somebody. It deals 75 percent of their damage back at them...ouch

Believe me, the Healing spells don't help much in Castle Wars.

 

 

 

I've had 50+ hits hit on me when healing others, because their low health. 2 casts and you're dead.

 

 

 

Which btw, warning...DO NOT heal people hurt a lot outside of minigames unless you're in for huge damage done on you.
