nick44
Keep in mind this is only for members. Who do you think in the history of runescape (rs1 and 2) was the most killed monster in p2p? The first thing that comes to my mind is chaos druids, or khazard troops (best training place from combat levels 50-123 in rsc)

My_Eggs
well the barrows brothers are killed quite often... so i'd have to say any of them 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. Jagex'd out of my untrimmed hp cape on 6/14/2011.

Artemis_42
Well, if we are talking p2p, then bandits, rock crabs or experiments. I guess anything else that can be used as good afk training, but these would be the most used ones. kwimbob
Nobody said fire giants, they're like the thing most often killed to train range and there used to be toooooooooooooons of range pures. I'm sure it's not THE most killed mosnster ever, but it's up there. Combat 116+; Total 1900+; All Hard Tasks; (Nearly) All quest points; (Nearly) All skills 60+; An aquatic moose ninja.Currently: Using 63 hunter to get some of those "Chins", then I'm going to range stuff down. Interruptions of agility when I feel like it, as well. And lucky enough to get 4 Dragon and 6 Barrow Drops.[hide]Kwimbob now looks exactly like me in real life except for hair color. Yes, this means I look exactly like the protagonist of that certain anime that my second character, Faye_V is also named after. Yes, I bought a jacket that also looks like his. No in real life I don't have a slain bear to sling over my shoulders. Yes, I'm that skinny even if I no-life it for years in basements. No, I can't shoot a gun. Yes, I can win any other strategic video game you have never played - because I probably have, ahahaha. And yes, I also have brown eyes, yet one of my eyes looks different from the other. And yes, I'm completely oblivious to the [real] world around me as I constantly engineer new solutions to daily problems in my head. When I get hungry, all that isn't food can wait. When I'm sleepy - nothing is of any priority in front of sleep. But at any other time, I never slow down. Never give up. Never Surrender. Kashi
?! LOL Guards of course!! Didn't you ever do "Garden of Tranquility"? And I quo - er .. paraphrase. "The average life span of a Falador guard is 12 seconds." My greatest ambition is to kill every member of the human race. However I am a realist and therefore know that I probably wont be able to. Icingdeath
Cows, guards, Khazard troopers. I trained all my fighting stats to 40 on cows, from then on I trained on Khazard troopers until 60+. I really wouldn't call it an era. It was more of a definitive time period during which dinstinctive characteristics were expressed in similar ways. langer
there was a time when fire giants on baxtorian falls were very crowded just before brimhaven dongeon and slayer was released. Al-kahrid guards are generaly being killed by lower lvls and used to be one of the first and best afk training place.... Magic axe anyone? Rock crabs and bandits have not been in the game for so much time... guards... they used to be a good source of money from lvl 2 clues back when treasure trails were released... so yeah up the charts. Black demons were surprisingly crowded when ranging was the best pking style. Same goes with blue dragons... If someone considers that a noob is a monster.... then i guess a lot of noobs got killed in the history of runescape... I'm pretty sure in 2-3 years... rock crabs, pc monsters, bandits, dagganoths and kalphites will be considered top be top contenders... but they have not been in the game long enough in my opinion. This is a very good point; the older the monster, the more time it could have been killed. There is an equally valid counterpoint, though. Monsters killed in RSC were killed by a much smaller population of runescapers. In other words, there are more worlds/people now than ever before. So, even if everybody from RSC killed, say parrots, from the dawn of RSC through today that might still be lower than a very popular monster killed by ONLY those who have joined AFTER RSC even if only released a year ago. Meh, that was even more convoluted. I will use math for a basic solution: 1,000 EXAMPLE RSC population X 100 EXAMPLE of average kills per person per day = 100,000 EXAMPLE number of parrots killed a day X 1500 EXAMPLE number of days since parrot was killable = 150 Million parrots killed TOTAL. 10,000 EXAMPLE RS2 population X 100 EXAMPLE kills per person per day = 1MIL Example number of... squirrels? killed a day X 500 EXAMPLE number of days since squirrel was killable = 500 Million squirrels killed TOTAL. So... PC monsters/portals will soon FAR out distance all other monsters soon if they haven't already, in my opinion. Not only are they great xp blah blah blah but they provide an UNLIMITED NUMBER OF SPAWNS! No matter what you do there is only a limited number of red dragons (for example) per spawn, per world, and therefore per day. With generated monsters the potential kills are limited only by server capacity (and of course people's desire to pc but that is the same for all other situations). So yeah, I would say shifters will be top by the end of the year if they aren't already. Shifters are nice and aggresive so that increases kills let alone the fact that they like to reach out and touch the VK (which is where a good 40% of your average pcers hang out). Yep, shifters.
