I am 99% sure that smite will still be lvl 52 to use and so the rest will be lower.

 

I have a few reasons:

 

 

 

1) wouldn't it be a bit unfair for meleers to get to hit maximum extra on 34 prayer and mages need prayers that go HIGHER THEN PROTECTION PRAYERS, even higher then the later added special prayers. No right ?

It would be unfair on the mages and rangers to put them higher, that would mean that meleers don't have to raise their prayer as high. I do agree that their should be prayers higher than 52, no other skill has the highest option at 52 :x

they probably wont increase damge they will just be +5, +10 and +15% on top of the normal range or mage attack bonus. it will work like the str def and attack we have now.

 

 

 

so when you use the super attack pray you gain +15% of what your current attack bonus is, and with these new prayers u gain +15% on the mage or range attack bonus.

 

 

 

because mage damge is linked to the spell and range damge is linked to your range level, you wont be able to gaine any more damge with these prayers just mroe chance of hitting. The reason melee gets extra damage is simply because the damge u do is based on str level and str bonus, and the ultimate str pray increases your str bonus therefore increaseing your max hit.

 

 

 

So in conclusion the prayers wont have much effect on the game, but wil simply mean ull have a +15% extra attck bonus. Mages will hit abit better on black hide and rangers will hit abit better on rune armour simple.

I think they will be at same level as ultimate strength (34). Jagex has said that they will increase range and mage damage by 15%, so they will be the equivalent or ultimate strength, and so will need the same prayer level.

because if it's raising the same percentage then it should be the same level would be unfair to who ever has to get extra pray lvls with the same percentage

55 and up for protects is nonsense,there would be a huge backlash against jagex.

 

For example all the people that are yet to do certain quests that require prayer to complete, namely desert treasure, they would have to work a damn site harder than the people that have already done it, this is only one example there are so many reasons why they couldnt do that.

ah but your forgetting that most of what jagex does is pro melee, if what your saying is true, shoulding the black slayer mask also give 15% to mage and range atts? jagex isn't always "fair" to mages are rangers remember

I thought that the str and att prayers edited your stats ( like a str or att pot right?) cause when i have nothing on (i.e. punching, no str bonus or att bonus) i still hit a few numbers higher.

 

 

 

with that said, ( depending on who is right about the prayers) range could work just like str, whereas in str, your lvl is how you deturmin your max hit, in range its the same way only with range it is like haveing the 2 stats ( attack and str ) in one stat, ( accuacy and max hit both come from range)

 

so if we have a 15% boost to range lvl shouldn't it up the max hit AND its accuracy? yes mage is a tad different because it is based on what spell you are useing, it will be interesting how that works.

They do kinda leak the pics on purpose in my opinion because they make them so insanely easy to find. This starts good suggestions on the matter and in the case of this one, will then raie the prayers to keep the 3 level gaps.

 

 

 

Personally I hope they do raise them, the only thing really special about have over 52 is the fact that you can hit higher with retribution and you have a better chance fighting someone who is smiting your prayer. 70 prayer would raise all the smiting pures 2.25 combat levels which isnt a great deal.

 

 

 

Also the way I see it with the new prayers is that mage pray will raise accuracy (unless it is a spell like slayer dart which depends on mage level) and the range pray will increse accuracy and hit power. Tho everyone says the new crossbows are overpowered, have any of you tried pking with a group with them? They are extremely slow and I find it easier to hit with mage short bow and rune arrows.

 

 

 

The new range max hit following the 15% range level boost would be a 26 which would finally make ranging a good thing to pk with if you can hit 6 above sharks healing ability.

Ummm, I'm pretty sure that Ice Barrage is insane enough without prayer. I think at least the mage prayer deserves to be higher than the melee prayers (not saying higher than 52)

FYI, Jagex leaked that:

 

 

 

Range prays will be at levels 8, 17, and 44

 

Mage prays will be at levels 9, 18, and 45.

 

 

 

That's from the picture they leaked and the only levels available between. Either they'll change all the current levels, or their minds about these prays... but most likely those will be the levels. The best will be higher than protect melee but lower than smite. =\
