November 12, 200718 yr Bleach is teh pwnage but Death Note is wow. Anybody read the manga for Bleach? Eh, I've done a little, but once I realized that I prefer the anime over the manga (or simply the fact that the action is more real as an anime), I stopped spoiling it for myself. Kinda pissed that I know about Nell (as well as a few other things, such as fights with Ulqui-whatever and Grimmjow, and Rukia's fight with #9); it ruins it personally for the events leading up to those scenes, so I stick away from the manga. Death Note I'd read as a manga- in all honesty, it's really meant to be read. Bleach... eh, that's a fighting anime, I wanna see some effects and hear some pain while enjoying it 8-) . [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.
November 12, 200718 yr The manga of Bleach and Naruto is such a drag nowadays. I'd whip Kishi and Tite-san a bit harder to ditch the plot-no-jutsus and frickin' get on with the fanserviceaction. Yes, I watch Naruto. I even lived through the fillers, that's how sad I am. Ultra Unholy,Hearted Machine...

November 12, 200718 yr  I just read about the whole Dragon Ball GT series, which I never saw. It seemed like an awesome ride. The Dragonball Z series was great, my favorite show as a kid. Ending seemed nice, got back on his faithful nimbus and had his pole, going to the grave of Gohan.

Tons of people die in DBZ. I mean, a ton. The most obvious ones are the simply pure evil villains, but, there are a few other matters to consider, like, I dunno, the billions Kid Buu killed on his planet destroying spree? November 12, 200718 yr Heck yes. And if I remember correctly, the figure was closer to about 28 or so times, not 5. [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.
November 12, 200718 yr When I said no one dies, it's that they always have a way of coming back. So in a way, death is nothing more than just existing in another world It's a deus ex machina galore.
November 12, 200718 yr [hide]ZOMG Aizen you evil sonnuva.... I DID NOT See that coming! and seriously.. how long does 1 story arc last for?! the rescue rukia arc has at least 40 episodes under its belt now. and im at ep 60[/hide]
November 12, 200718 yr HIDE TAGS JAZIEK! Those watching dubbed don't know that gigantic plot twist that is vital for the entire anime! You didn't see it coming, neither will they, so don't spoil it :o! When I said no one dies, it's that they always have a way of coming back. So in a way, death is nothing more than just existing in another world It's a deus ex machina galore. Eh, you have a point :-k . All the villains seem to rise out of hell every so often, and all the good guys get Dragon Wish'd back to life... Oh will, my case that people die a hell of a lot more in Dragon Ball still stands :-w . [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.

November 12, 200718 yr I love anime and manga! I like watching Bleach, Trinity Blood, and Ghost in the Shell, and I currently read Bleach. I know I should get into more, and I will. :
November 12, 200718 yr [hide] some1 did die.. even if it was just a side character.. that evil bastard killed his loving luitenant. [/hide] [hide]Momo ain't dead foo'.[/hide] I love anime and manga! I like watching ... Trinity Blood ... That was one crappy anime with one of the most cliche and awkward main characters I've ever encountered in my life, at least by far one of the worst. I kept thinking every time I watched that (which was all of three episodes), "stop rippin' off for Rurouni Kenshin, or for God's sake, at least stop doing it badly". I loved him the first episode of it, but once I realized they were going to do the exact same damn thing for every single episode -Night-whatever and some other characters do some lighthearted things that lead up to some intense, dark plot, which eventually leads to Night-who-cares going dark freak and killing/defeating some random, pointless enemy- , I couldn't stand to watch it anymore. It was just predictable, it was mindnumbingly repetitive and utterly pointless. Bad, bad anime. [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.
November 12, 200718 yr I watched the first episode of Trinity blood on [AS] (at least I think thats what it was) and it just seemed too stupid to continue on with. Really cheesy, and I couldn't get over the fact that the 'pope' (apparently) was some whiny little kid. Didn't really get me interested.
November 12, 200718 yr [hide] some1 did die.. even if it was just a side character.. that evil bastard killed his loving luitenant. [/hide] [hide]Momo ain't dead foo'.[/hide] [hide] she looks pretty damn dead to me. but so do a lot of other characters when they "die" i guess.[/hide]
November 12, 200718 yr I don't know...I was never too happy about the plot, actually. There was something about how the music and the graphics blended together that made me want to watch it. The plot probably sucks bad, and the young pope definitely sounded like he had been smoking at an early age, but I liked the good moments. It went off the air anyway, and the original writer died of a lung blockage and didn't get to finish it. He left the rest of the plot to his son (the reason of the bad plot?).
November 16, 200718 yr These quotes are about Bleach. You've been warned. [hide] some1 did die.. even if it was just a side character.. that evil bastard killed his loving luitenant. [/hide] [hide]Momo ain't dead foo'.[/hide] [hide] she looks pretty damn dead to me. but so do a lot of other characters when they "die" i guess.[/hide] [hide]Wow, coincidence. I seriously just watched that episode like 10 minutes ago, and came around here to shout out to the world how good Bleach is!!! And I was kinda hesitant to open these hides because I knew neither what show you were talking about or what point, and it just happened to be the right show at the right point. Freaky. Yeah, Unohana said Hinamori avoided death for now. Anyways, I love this show. It was sorta a bit slow to begin, but from like episode 15-now (I'm on 61) it's just gotten progressively sweeter. I was thinking, where are they gonna go after this: Byakuya is going to get killed by Ichigo and save Rukia, then what...And then like, 20 plot twists later (I sorta knew something was up, though I thought maybe Ichimaru was actually good [nothing is as it seems]) and we are where we are. So excited to continue![/hide] Bleach owns. IT OWNS. The story is amazing, the characters are pretty cool, the humor is consistently funny, and the fights are of mixed quality, ranging from 'meh' to 'Woah' but usually somewhere in between. I think I still like Naruto a little better, but that could be because I've seen all of it (not Shippuden yet, but soon). I don't think the story is as good (it's not really as mature or complex), but the characters are very unique (making the dramatic moments more hard-hitting) and the fight scenes are most of the time phenomenal. I'm slowly becoming addicted to anime (it went from ~1 hour per night at the start of semmester to ~3 hours a night now). And I'm so glad that there are so many other allegedly great animes that I can watch when I run out of Bleach and Naruto (I'm thinkin, first Death Note, then Cowboy Bebop, Rurouni Kenshin, Ghost in the Shell...). Is Dragonball GT worth checking out? I watched the entirity of Dragonball Z when I was like 12-14ish, but I've sort moved on to more modern, story-driven anime. There was a lot of staring and screaming in DBZ that I donno if I would be able to put up with now. And despite loving DBZ, I didn't really get much entertainment from the few Dragonball episodes I watched. Final Comment, @ Jaziek [hide]oh. man... do i feel sorry for all you adult swim watchers who got stuck at episode 52.. 2 more episodes and .. wow..I seriously almost sharted my pants when I watched that ep. Soooo goood.[/hide] Note: I'm aware I sound like a rambling noob in this post, and that I use an excessive amount of bracketed comments, but it's 3am and I just got off a 4 hour Bleach binge so cut me some slack.
