Winter Elemental

 

 

 

 

New world map. Note how it pretty much kills any large undiscovered areas. Sure updates are possible, but there's no longer the feeling of undiscovered areas :(

 

 

 

Only 2 little things, but the second is interesting, even though the new city isn't on it.

What about other islands in the ocean 8-) ?

It doesn't have Drakan's castle so there's more to come than what is just on that map.

and they'll continue to add to the mainland as they always have done.. ardouge recently got a new fishing town east of it, other things like that will be added

 

 

 

 

 

large undiscovered areas can still easily be added

 

like, cros the unseen marsh of canifis area and step through to a mirror world, or the last beyond! (eastern themed?)

yer another giant island may be possible? a whole new country as it were!

i think that there are still possibilities with that new map for large unexplored areas to pop up. there are a couple of parts, like near the slayer tower and the desert, where the map ends unusually sharply. maybe new places could be added on there.

 

 

 

and you cant forget about the places that are alread on the map that you can't get into. that huge elf city for example.

if you look closly in the elf city on that map...it has dents and bumps in it...

Myreditch (or however it's spelled) seems like a metaphor for Auschwitz. They probably excluded that from the map on purpose :P

i dont knnow about that :? i think that its temp it just dosent make since i mean look at the desert its sand then BAM! ocean that dosent happen (i know beaches are sand but still do to the increased rain fall that would no longer be a desert)

That's just one of the boss monsters from the end fights of Recipe for Disaster. Not anything to come.

 

 

 

Anyway, I think you missed some things. There's a picture of another strange beast in there that you missed. whatever it is, I'm too lazy to post a picture.

I already posted this on the hidden updates board. Someone I asked said it was a graphically redone ice queen? I don't know, I haven't been there in ages.

I know, but there are no obvious spots to extend, such as the desert in classic, or west of digsite before morytania.

You can't forget the possible updates of the Dogreshuun city and the bit of the Tzharr caves inaccessible to RS players.

anyway as has been said before, they could easily expand the map slightly, or i reckon that they could just make a new 'world' with its own continents and islands and whatnot, and all theyd have to do is some sort of telelportation device to various points in it from varrock or fally or ardouge etc.

 

 

 

imagine that, a whole new world with new cities and new quests and new creatures.....that would be teh pwnage for sure.... \ :thumbsup:

Or the swimming skill... and sharks. Imagine ice barraging a shark in the middle of the ocean, that'd be funny.
