Don't you think its about time they gave a new item to farm or something? They haven't given anything since it came out with was about 15 months ago.

 

 

 

Here is a list of items I have came up with

 

 

 

Wood Trees

 

Mahogany Tree Seeds

 

Teak Tree Seeds

 

 

 

Flowers

 

Some higher level flowers like roses, tulips, daffodils

 

 

 

Allotment

 

Only thing I can think of bigger than watermelons is pumpkins. But they can't be the same as the rare or else alot of people would get angry

I think there is enough stuff to farm. What I think they should do is make seeds actually BUYABLE from NPCs. It's ludicrously stupid that you can only get seeds from theiving and NPC drops :roll:

I don't enjoy farming so I just plant trees for xp 8-)

Mahogany and teak trees should be added, yes. I think they should also add a new tree that needs 85 wc and can only be cut if you grow it, since woodcutting hasn't been updated in a while.

 

 

 

Higher level flowers would be cool, but I think the ones you mentioned are a bit useless. Perhaps make flax and snape grass growable?

Soultar has some ideas too. 8-) It would be nice to have more limpwurts from one flower too. Nobody plants limpwurt seeds anymore because of the fact that they only harvest 3. Maybe raise the amount to like... 15?

There's no point in new flowers if there are no new allotments though :) . Hmm new allotments... I think farmig should get an update together with herblore, new pots and seconds...

They have given farming updates (magic secatuers and lunar magic), just no new produce.

 

 

 

They won't ever let you plant rare trees because it would nullify the rewards for that cleanup game on karamaja. (Not that it matters since its been abandoned...)

 

 

 

To be honest the only thing worth consistently planting and digging up is herbs and second ingredients.

 

(Unless your in it strictly for levels and rank, or like making them tuna potato things)

 

They should expand herblore and then farming.

 

Super range and super magic pots would be nice, or the next generation of super sets.

Carrots would be nice. Carrot Cake could be added. Only problem is that I don't think they'd be higher than watermelons.

well there is a mahogany tree on ape atoll, along with a collection of teak. the karahazi jungle too contains a group of teaks.

Instead of even using already existing vegetables, trees and whatnot, they could just make up some magical plants like they've already done. :)

15 would just be a stupid amount, but why not make it lvl dependant like runecrafting, the higher your lvl the more limps you would get, with a minimum of 3 and every 10 or so lvls you get another limp per seed

It really wouldn't affect the price more then 100gp. Snape grass is easy to get and right now its only like 500gp. The reason herb farming is so sucessful is because you can get more herbs from planting them then trying to gather them in the alloted time frame excluding bying them. I can easily gather 100 snape grass in an hour. Even if you got 20 snape grass from each flower spot, you wouldn't beat the gathering.
