d3vilbro Posted September 26, 2006 Share Posted September 26, 2006 Wow, just 5 minutes ago somebody came into the Lessers where I was training my mage, and puts up a trade screen, he puts up a Rune 2-Hander and accepts, I thougt it was a joke at first, but he clicked accept again and the 2-Hander appeared in my invt. I was extremly happy and thanked him profusly, but then he puts up another trade screen. I proceed to sit there in awe as he puts up Full Rune, a Rune Scimmy and B-Axe and some green gloves then accepts twice and teles off. I just sat there in disbelievement at what just happened, then teled off and banked... I don't have a Pic, I can get one of the stuff in my invt just after he accepted, but I like to think I am respected enough on these forums not to need to (It's not ike I said he gave me a Phat or anything...)... I guess there isn't really a point to this thread, I am just supprised that someone was this nice. Has this sort of thing ever happened to you? If so what did you get? Well actually I brang Karma into it because I have been doing nice thing for people lately (Rune Scimmy + Cash to a friend when he was Hacked, Quite a bit of stuff to another friend who had terrible luck while training, and died like 4 times etc), and it is always nice to get things back for yur good deeds... I also, do not believe in Karma, I guess like "zubeedoo" I do nice things because I want to, and if I get something back down the line then so be it. Along with 35k, and half a second later declines. I mean he didn't even give me the chance to accecpt then he declines then he laughs and calls me a noob. At least do it right. Now, I know that is barely anything, but I was suprised that a lvl 20 would give something away. No offense meant to anyone, but just about everyone under lvl 25 that I have met, has been a jerk. There are three possibilities I can think of for why someone would be that generous; they're really, really nice, they're quitting, or they just stole someone's account and are cleaning them out. I'm hoping it's one of the first two, as in the case of the third, the "hacker" would have been more likely to drop trade the stuff rather than give it away.
