I love this new update, for many reasons.

 

 

 

1) I love the new character close up. Makes it feel like a much better graphic game.

 

2) Rune Boots giving a strength bonus now, always a good thing

 

3) New fishing animations. It's great to see now the lobster pots going underwater.

 

4) The new interface is great

 

 

 

 

 

The only things I am a little etchy about in the new orange text...a little too odd for my taste, I think they should bring yellow back. Also, the emotes really didn't need to be changed, or the two faces for the friends and ignore list. But other than that, great job Jagex

I like everything but the emotes, and the dang orange text! :uhh:! The run button could be better, too... But other then that, I like it! \.

I personally like the new system it just thinks its gonna take a bit to adjust.The new way to do emotions i dont like it may show what your exactly going to do but its confussing.I like the tutors(if thats how you spell it).

I dislike this very, very much.... Mainly because I was pking, and a rat attacked me so I swiched from my auto-cast staff to my adamant scimatar, so not to waste runes, and then *Congratulations, you're defence level is now 2* (Because,now, when you swich from an auto-casting staff, the default is now defensive mode, not what you would normally choose, which I had no idea about at the time.), which got my pure an immidiate combat level, and that combat level almost got me killed. :wall: :evil:

Whats the issue with the run button? Its not smaller, use your brain and try clicking the picture of the little man running.

 

 

 

the orange text does look a bit funny, but i like it. Its something new, and im liking it more and more.

I personally love the new update.

 

 

 

I beleive that the orange text is just temporey, since halloween is just around the corner maybe new colors every month? hehe

 

 

 

I also agree the running will take a sec to get used 2.

 

 

 

But overall nice updates - i love new rune boots =D

I hate it, it looks like a game for three year olds who can't read. :| The orange on brown makes it worse, you might as well put gray on black.

 

 

 

I haven't gotten a chance to try anything else besides smithing (which hasn't changed -.-) but they sound more realistic. :?

Icons: I like some of them, the smileys are horrible.

 

 

 

Compass: I like it.

 

 

 

Orange Stats: I could get used to it... but why?

 

 

 

Emotes: Why they came up with that idea baffles me, kind of silly and childish looking. Rather funny, in a oh god that is so stupid, kind of way.

 

 

 

New Sounds: Can you say "Annoying" ? Staying off.

 

 

 

Options changes: I like the new look, but the run button is really begin to tick me off.

 

 

 

Equipment: I liked it when I didnt have to click an extra time and wait a second to for a screen to pop up to see how much weight I had. But the character viewer is cool and I could care less about the other stats.\

 

 

 

 

 

Love the new lumby teleport and the bank. Spoiled newbies.

i hate hate hate hate hate it.. i think it stinks, and the new little controls are unbelieveably stupid

I like everything except the new bank in lumbridge. I "worked" :roll: for a bank in lumbridge during RFD :| .

 

 

 

I generally like everything else.

quick easy run, hold down ctrl key then click where you want to go, you run to that spot

combate selection: ok, bad that they got rid of showing the wepon,

 

the new square thing i dont care about,

 

AUTO RETALIATE IS WAY TO BIG!!! pointless, make it smaller (and put wepon pic in.

 

specail atk: pointless to change, was better before.

 

orange text: couldnt care less

 

 

 

stats screen: orange text is fine, and the new grafics thing(invintory, spell book, skill bars exc.) rocks on all the things exept the weild one... the guy is whereing full white. WHY? and the prayer icon sould be white if your a sara guy, green for guthix, and red for zammy. like if the last alter u prayed at was of a god, the icon would change to taht color.

 

 

 

wield screen: love the click thing, hate it too. now if you're in combat, you cant check it. they should make that smaller, and put back the old stats place.

 

 

 

lumbie tele: i dont care, i might use it just to save runes, but the new bank in lumbie is dumb... wish they hadnt done that. the mining spot in lumbie being moved: o well, closer to draynor.

 

 

 

guides: forgot to look, im sure their cool tho

 

 

 

friends/ignor: i dont care, but the orange guy should be yellow, yellow is happyer than orange. (if it dosnt change o well tho, im not complaining)

 

 

 

log out button: pointless, and confusing. at least its in the same spot, but i think they could do better than that.

 

 

 

tool: I HATE THE RUN THING!!! (see lower for better idea) all other buttons: y so big? i never change any of them anyways, so they should be all compacted into one button (like house button), and when you click on it a screen pops up and has all those opions on there. new sounds: AWESOME!!! and if you dont like them, you can turn them off.

 

 

 

emote screen: i cant believe they did that... completly and utterly pointless, takes up to much space... but if we must take up that much pointless space, at least make them smaller so you dont have to scroll as much.

 

 

 

RUN and kg caried: it should be put RITE NEXT TO THE report abuse button... no changing screens just to turn it on :D

what's with the "training items"? this is just a way for noobs to look look.

i dont like the orange, but not that big a deal, my 3 biggies are the run, emotes, and combat bonuses

All I like is the inventory, the rest looks like they let a seven year old do the design.

The only thing I like about the new interface is you can do an emote and quickly switch to the equipment stats screen you will see your character still performing the emote in all its zoomed in glory.

 

 

 

Oh wait, the novelty wore off already.. nvm I don't like it any more....

omg! im in love with the training sheild! :3> it give defencive bonuses without effecting mage attck bonus, thats what f2p needs, plus it looks awesome... i think you'll need to give me and the sheild a few moments in a dark room...

 

 

 

just kidding :thumbsup: but i personally dont like much of the interface updates.

 

 

 

- the orange writing is hard to read, but im hoping they will realise this and change it :pray:

 

 

 

- the emotes look childish and dont give any extra indication of what they are

 

 

 

- and the friends icons dont look too well... i dont think jagex understood what we ment when we said 'lets fix friends list'

 

 

 

oh and about the compass... i think i like it, its atleast clearer then the other one :
