Futurama
In the spirit of "Best Ever" shows on channel 4 presented by that plonker Jimmy Carr, what was your favourite cartoon ever; not for how often you watch it, how often it makes you laugh or how many episodes of it you've seen; but what just completely blew you away? Here's channel 4's list as voted by the general public - choose yours! http://www.channel4.com/entertainment/t ... sults.html I think mine would have to be Futurama - not for the jokes, but for the fact that it's got such a weird view on the future - the fact that they're 1000 years ahead and yet you still get slobs working at petrol stations and tlaking in slack accents. That was really amazin :] But yeah, its not just my favourite cartoon, just think its fantastic in concept :)

Faux
Justice League. Even though I've never read a DC comic in my life, I liked it. Too bad it was over a few months ago. My list of favourite series would be (not in order): ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Justice League ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Xmen Evolution ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ South Park ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Avatar ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Batman Beyond Right now, the only time I watch a tv is for half an hour during Saturday morning for Avatar. For animated movies, I can't really remember any of my favourites atm. :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::

Mr_Putter
Even though I really like Family Guy, I wouldn't possibly say it blows me away. The Simpsons, seasons 3-6, do. I've seen every episode in those seasons atleast 30 times a piece (an extremely conservative estimate, most likely more than 50). And the older I grow, the more I notice that I didn't before (whether it be a pop-culture reference, or simply a subtle happening in the background that I never saw before). The episodes in those seasons (and I guess 7-8 were fine aswell), are the best TV there has ever been, period.

Greatsilverwyrm
I would agree with Futurama.. not neccesarily for the concept, but for the execution. I am constantly amazed at how even though it's a comedy, and it's random as hell, it still is able to develop characters, and keep a consistant plotline throughout. Not only that, but the "serious" episodes are just fantastic.
indy500fan
South Park is easily the best cartoon ever. Not only is it extremely funny, but it is just awesome. Season Ten starts up again this Wednesday, and apperantly the first episode is WoW based. All you WoW addicts will probably like it :P

knives669
Oh what a pleasant surprise to see you back here, Futurama. ^_^ I would have to say my favorite cartoon of all time is Family Guy. Though, it hasn't been on very long, Metalocalypse is shaping up to be a GREAT show!

Barihawk
Any animated TV show on Comedy Central should be banned...they are all pointless and crude. For all time: -Batman: The Animated Series -Animaniacs -Freakazoid -The Real Ghostbusters -Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles And last but not least, the essence of awesome: -Star Trek: The Animated Series My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Yeah the reason i've liked south park so much recently is because it at least has some revelence to stuff. Family guy, while incredibly funny, is just really random.
