ive recently been rcing, i bought 25k pure ess, i find it very boring. for all you nat abyss rcers, how do you abyss rc without getting bored, or just have the will power to make more than 10k ess at a time? :wall:

alot of things boring, either turn your chat off and just focus on rcing OR talk to people

Take breaks, listen to music, or my way of dealing with it, FOLLOW PEOPLE TO THE ABYSS so you don't have to do it yourself. :D

25k ess? boy, you have any clue how many i've made? roughly 450k laws on 66 till 91, than another 314knats( not doubled, meaning 628k with 91 \ ). Sorry about that, was ranting.

 

ON TOPIC: How I do it? I have great friends who I chat with, and I keep my eyes on the prize, im a goal driven person, I have not stopped RCing for about 6 months.

wow you guy s are jsut cool lol i ran 1k laws a few days ago i was extremely happy with myself * i get bored fast* i dont know how u guys do it with the 5k+ ammount of ess :thumbsup: and doning 10k ess at all is amazing to me L0rd keep it up ;)

Since my computer's in the living room, whenever I'm getting ready to do a large task that is really boring like rcing or mining, I'll plug in a good movie and watch that as I work. It's surprising how fast 5 loads from the Coal Trucks goes past!

Boring? More like stressful. I am fed up with constant attempts on my life whilst RCing. Yesterday I did about 1.3M cooking xp without getting bored.

 

 

 

I'm thinking about doing it the old fashioned way (using dueling rings ect.), I liked it a lot more then. Seriously :

Runescape's really not the game for you if you get bored easily - I'm surprised you got this far. :P

 

My advice for you is to play music, have a TV on somewhere, have soem instant messenger running, talk on the phone, anythign to add some kind of extra stimulus.

Either train a bit of rc than move to something else...maybe do 1k pure ess at a time and have a fallback skill to work on when you get sick of RCing, orrrrrr make a little competition out of it. See how many ess you can craft in an hour? Than try to beat your last hour :D.

hes rite, i am so easily bored... im reading forums constantly and playing runescape while on messenger systems listening to music and watching tv @ the same time

 

 

 

 

 

turn sound effects to off, and sounds to 1. turn ur tv down to like 1/4th the volume or whatever and play music thru microsoft media player.

 

 

 

 

 

i read alot to, i read alot of articles on halo and halo2, and the book series while i play scape, but usually if the reading gets intense i let scape slide.

I'm never bored since I listen to music, do the runecrafting, browsing Tip.it. browsing the OOC boards and chatting to friends.

Well currently im on a goal of 60k nats and did around 15k so far , i would say

 

 

 

Music-have a long playlist so you dont hear the same song freaquently

 

Freinds- if you have freinds rcing at the time why not join them and see if you are faster and slower and make it sorta a race

 

 

 

Pkers(ik im crazy)- pkers keep anoyying you and add a little "twist" to rcing, if they have amazing stats(rare) then world hop, otherwise you can stay and dds them if they try to kill you. Most arent lucky enough to get entangle+teleblock on your d hides so its hard to die

yeah, 2-4 i do. sometimes ras'p berry, but not often. 2 is really fun, only got 3 kills though, usually they tele/run after firstdds when they notice i mean business.
