October 18, 200619 yr Mmmhh ... Slayer! I was annoyed they showed our emote for slayer in the KB. With it being arguably the coolest and one of the rarest I didnt want everyone to be able to see the emote easily from Jagex. Grats on your hot cape. Join TSG so we can get like 20 99 slayers in one place for a photo op some day. Slay on, Axe Drools =P~ I hope to get soon :XD: only 12 more lvs
October 18, 200619 yr I got my quest cape. But it looks really ugly, maybe lose the flappy bits and make it all white and it will look good. Oh My God, I hear u, friend, the flappy things at are just horrible, but other than that, they're awsome :D Weird. I love the 'flappy thing'
October 18, 200619 yr Quest cape 8) Here's my blog: restoring it soon | Achieved 99 Crafting Quoting yourself is laaaaame

Oh My God, I hear u, friend, the flappy things at are just horrible, but other than that, they're awsome :D Weird. I love the 'flappy thing' I dont like them either, at least if we're talking about those blue flappy things on the shoulders which make you look like you stumbled straight from the 80's. Incidentally a period which is not known for its impeccable taste... Other than that, I love love love the cape.
October 18, 200619 yr Hmmm,i dont really see a practical use for the new capes. :\ Temporary boost of 1 lvl to a skill that is already 99.Although they do look nice and have cool emotes. Im going to stick with fire cape though.
October 18, 200619 yr Pretty disappointed.. update seemed rush even though it should of come out years ago. Why make all the functionalities (stats) of the capes the same? And give a pointless.. 1 lvl boost.. Suppose jagex thinks 2 hours of fight caves deserves better than months of training.. imo fire cape looks a lot cooler also.. jagex could of been more ingenuitive for such a reward (lvl 99)

October 18, 200619 yr I find the costume room totally useless: - I'd have to tear down 1 room. - Seems stupid to store my items to my house cuz it would then take me tele and some extra time to get them. - If I ever have a house party I have hides and ahrims in my inv anyway. If the room would replace 1 of the bedrooms... The capes... r just great! : (there should be a combination cape that would swich its colour and symbol every 5 sec and show all 99 skills)
October 18, 200619 yr Yeah, of course. I like to have my 10 sets of frog suit at hand in case i need them. The same applies to mime, scarfs, zombie head, do i really need to go on to prove my point? *** [ END ]: You gained 1,671,000 thieving exp in 9mins 44secs. October 18, 200619 yr Got two lines of free space to my bank. Much appreciated! Great update! 40,919th person to access Turmoil. 21,559th person to access Overloads. Are there any hidden bonuses here? No bonuses
October 18, 200619 yr All I can say is what an update. The new capes look really awesome and the emotes are great. I am so thankful for the bank space I have been full for months. My only gripe with the update is lvl 84 construction is needed to store lvl 3 clue items. Only 260 people (at the time of this post) have it. A lot more than this number have level 3 clue rewards clogging their banks. I would personally like the con level lowered to allow more people to take advantage of this great idea.

And to store anything you need full outfit, bye shade robes i guess :/ 50k+ for 2 bank spaces :/ And new capes look alittle cheesy, and i see everyoen wearing them, but the emotes are AWESOME (Quit: tallest please come to the death altar, give me 1,337,000,000 gp, a golden tinderbox, and a spade, also steal one of zidanes phats and give it to me.

Giving more benefits to higher levels is the best way to do that. ;) Sig And Avatar by Tripsis - 99 Slayer Blog - My Pyramid Plunder GuideOwner of Fire Cape since 28-09-2005 - 426th to 99 Strength

Actually all these costume room items can be made in flatpack, so everyone can have them at any construction lvl over 42, as long as those 260 persons make them enough. Im upset that you can store only 1 set of clothes in wardrobe.

Anyone with 78 can get an easy plus 6 from tea and the crystal saw which will build. But, thats still probably only less than 2k players. The fact that you have to put the whole set in there stinks hard. Also it blows that you need 90 con to get a rack to hold more than 5 skill capes. Now I gotta go out buy a marble block and get a bunch of stews to put that in so I dont have to store 2 capes in my bank... Exclusive Legacy Mode Player He just successfully trolled you with "courtesy" and managed to get a reaction out of you. Lol
October 18, 200619 yr Guys can u combine more capes into one ( with that trim jagex was talking about). If so do u have boosted stats to 100 in several skills wearing only 1 "trimmed" cape? And another question. Can u buy stock up and buy for example several 99 strenght capes ( or trimmed ones )?
October 18, 200619 yr i guess one of my dungeon hallways will have to come out #-o need to do some more planning, just spent millions remodeling for my 99 range party lol the bank space will be nice but it just means by this week end i will have even more stuff i dont need and it will be full again :XD: oh well 8-) it will be nice to store stuff you dont use outside your bank. semi-retired as i am the lastest victim of computer crack! October 19, 200619 yr Love the capes, Love the bank space, Love the update. :3> Don't like the new rats they are just to nasty looking for me. Love the prayer cape makes you look like an ANGEL. O:)
October 19, 200619 yr Some of you are complaining about the Costume room and whatnot. I think it's definetly good. More clear bank space is always a good thing, but I think that this is an update for the few members that switch back and forth between F2P and P2P as well. For example, I'm currently F2P and have been P2P previously. My bank is 100% full (F2P size) and then some. If I had a costume room I could store that Splitbark Armour that's now just sitting there. There's undoubtedly ten or so things that I could possibly place into a costume room and would give me a better chance of having more space in my bank. Now what about those goats though? Anyone tried doing anything with them, seeing what they look like, trying the new potion?

And another question. Can u buy stock up and buy for example several 99 strenght capes ( or trimmed ones )? Trimmed cape only shows that you have more 99s too. For example I have 4 99 stats and my trimmed firemaking cape only boosts firemaking. The only benefit from the trim is +4 prayer to equipment stat. And yes, you can buy several capes. I got 3 firemaking capes, going to alch two of them.

And give a pointless.. 1 lvl boost.. Suppose jagex thinks 2 hours of fight caves deserves better than months of training.. imo fire cape looks a lot cooler also.. jagex could of been more ingenuitive for such a reward (lvl 99) i completely agree, i was hacked and lost my fire cape, and though +1 attk stats and the extra +2 def stats is nice, its not that useful, but +4 str for fire cape and nothing for 99 capes -.- especially trimmed 99 capes -.- imo trimmed 99 capes should be better than fire cape, its much harder to get 2 99s then to kill jad lol.. the only really useful part of the 99 capes is the prayer, but when ur using prayer a str bonus is helpful too... just generally quite dissapointed here... although the emotes are alright EDIT: oh and as for having people know im 99 or not, 124 combat shows (to anybody who knows jack about the game) that im 99 attk/def/str/hp (unless im a pray <3'r) and my other 99, cooking, i dont really care if people know i have, the capes should be a statistical reward for getting 99, most people realize i have at least 4 99s just by seeing my combat level
October 19, 200619 yr Now what about those goats though? Anyone tried doing anything with them, seeing what they look like, trying the new potion? I have. I am selling them 2k each for a 4 dose. They raise both attack and strength by 15%. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Believe me, nothing except a battle lost can be half so melancholy as a battle won. -Sir Arthur Wellesley
