Well, I stopped following the Tigers a year or two since they did so poorly. I'm from michigan myself. But when I heard they've been improving I was surprised, and when I heard they were in the world series I was all :shock:.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It stinks that they lost and I didn't catch any of the series, but the tigers approved majorly so I think they deserve an honorable mention or something.

To be really honest, this series didnt have the..the sex appeal of a world series. I didnt really pay attention. The cardinals werent a good team, however they won, so be that as it may, theyre champions

lol...i like the twins, but your stadium annoys me ...anyway, i am thrilled that the cards won, really exciting, complete underdogs. But i have total respect for the tigers and leyland, for relaly pulling ths team up, i mean they were the worst team in baseball along with the royals just last year, but a world series trip in just a year? incredible.

Ahh a team with 83 wins takes it :cry: My team Toronto Blue Jays had 87 wins yet we werent even close to making the playoffs. Yet a year for us Jays fans when we finally beat the Bo sox for second place :) . I wonder when we will win AL East one day. I mean we are going up against teams that spend double of what we spend.

Not really. The Devil Rays and Orioles have no hope. The Yankees are probably going to spen another 50 Mil this off-season, and end up doing worse than this year. The Red Sox are sadly going to fall apart, they're doing worse year by year. The Blue Jays are probably the only team improving, and I'm guessing in 2-3 years, they'll win the AL East. In about 5 years, the AL. In 9-13 years, the World Series.

Lol, you wish it'll happen next year. This was just one unfortuante year ya know? Julian Tavarez and Rudy Seanez, The -I won't put my racist comment here- Duo! They blew 20 games practically since the All-Star break. can't forget Mike Timlin. We beat the Yanks if it's not for them.

Fenway isn't just the stadium in which Ted Williams, Yaz, and the '04 Sox played. It's also the oldest current stadium in the MLB. It might be small, but I think by 2012, the 100 anniversary of Fenway, there will probably be mor ethan 40,000 seats.

I do actually remember this too. There was a few buildings they were going to knock down, and Fenway would be knocked down, with the exception of the Green Monster. How about make it a Bostonian Landmark and build one right near? Just like at Gillette Stadium where that Patriots play!
