Meh, nothing abnormal here. 5'7", 120 lbs. I guess my metabolism is average speed, but I excercise a lot. It would suck to have the kind of metabolism My_Eggs is talking about.

yeah, it kinda does with being hungry all the time, but you get used to it, plus you dont gain much weight when you eat a lot of food, even if its junk food :mrgreen:

Ok, so i have a really fast metabalism... how fast you ask? well earlier i went out to eat with my parents and i ordered a steak, i ate the steak, a baked potatoe, a salad, and some texas toast... and i'm still hungry, not like kinda hungry, but really hungry :shock: the good thing is when i eat alot i dont gain hardly any weight, it took me about a week to gain 1 pound, and that was with eating a lot of food every day... so i was wondering, who else out there has a really fast metabalism? and who has a really slow one? (btw, my matabalism is the only thing keeping me from being fat lol, well that and sports after school) gah, typing this message about food is making me even more hungry 8-)

5'6, 12 years old, and 103 pounds. I way less than my girlfriend, she's shorter than me. Amazing? I think it's saddening. I'm always eating... And stilll starving... <.<

I honestly get offended when people assume everyone is lying, sure, some people could be exaggerating, but I for one have no reason to lie on something so trivial as weight and height. Who's to say anyone's lying, this is the internet you can write what you like, and no one can prove against it if they do not know you in person. Hence there is no need to accuse everyone is lying, you have no evidence for or against that argument.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

History shows that people lie about their height and weight ALOT. This forum is no exception. Personally, I could care less. But its there, and its true.

55kb (121lb) and 1.75m (5' 7")

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Personally, I hate having a fast metabolism. I could eat constantly, do nothing (litterally, just eat and sleep) and gain no weight. Even when I tried, I only put on 2kg over 3 months.

Heh, ~5'10" and weighing in at 95 pounds. 16 aswell, I just can't put on weight. :P I ate about half of a cake which had an ingredient list matching the length of the Bible and didn't gain squat.

 

 

 

I'm always baking myself cakes, muffins and brownies and yet I gain nothing. I also don't exercise alot, I only play golf. (Although... it's more exercise than meets the eye.)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now you're exagerating about the cake. Maybe you are lying about your weight? Maybe it's 950 lbs, not 95 if you ate a cake with those kinds of ingredients, unless they're really small servings.

I on the other hand am worried about so many people being underweight. At 16 I was like 190 pounds, and I was almost bony, well not quite, but almost. But people have different physiques.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Yes this is also concerning me. Either the people are big fat liars, or they have problems with weight. Problems with weight is commonly associated with being fat, but being skiny is also very serious, especially if you have a fast metabolism.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For those of you that are underweight, you better eat up, a lot! It's important to keep your weight in the normal zone (although some people may just be fine as is, whether skinny or fat) or you could suffer some serious health consequences. Being underweight is NOT a good thing, especially to those that are lying to impress others, it's better to be in the normal zone than underweight almost anyday.

I'm always hungry as well, but I do get a little bit fat. It's not like I'm really fat, fat or something. But I'm not really skinny either. I think losing a few pounds wouldn't be a bad idea. And starting with sports would be awesome as well. Used to squash a lot, but then the halls had to be broken down. :( So I can't squash anymore. Now I'm PLANNING to buy jogging shoes, but as it is still planning I guess I won't have them for the next 6 months. >.>

be glad yours is fast if it was slow you would be massivly over wieght mine isnt fast its slow as hell, and i have to regulate what iheat or i will gain alot of weight amounts of weigh

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i used to be 5'9 180 lbs, now im 5'11 at 150 lbs

 

 

 

only took me a month to lost almost 40 lbs

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

so be glad you have a fast one and not a slow one

same with me :o except im not that tall or that heavy... im hungry alot but have a small stomach lol, im really skinny (like 75 pounds!) and im 12 in 7th grade, everyone says im small :( lol, i actually mostly eat barley anything (well sorta) but theres also times when ill eat tons and tons of food and still be hungry :lol: i always eat breakfast (unless my mom gets mad :-$ ) and i always eat lunch, except sometimes on weekends i skip it unless i go with friends, and i ALWAYS eat dinner, duh!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Some/now everybody will know that me and Rsloser22/bballchamp23 have a lot in common. Relgion, Red Sox fan :P , New England Region, --> :P I am 4'10'' and I'm 13 (pwned by 1 inch! :D) and 84 pounds. I have been eating a lot lately, but it's not like I'm unhealthy. I don't eat/drink any unhealthy food. I do curl ups/crunches and push ups every night before bed. I think I have a pretty average weight for my height and even if I am gaining weight now, I know that I will slow down, as I am eating a lot (of healthy foods).

Let's see, I'm pushing 5'10/11" these days and weigh in at about 170 pounds. I used to be a little chubby but it's not fat anymore, I guess rugby just does that to you :P

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I eat a lot, exercise a fair bit and would say i had a reasonable metabolism.

I've been eating healthy for two months and haven't lost any weight, but this one kid in my class is so athletic and has either McDonalds or greasy Chinese food every single day.

I'm 6'3" and about 160 pounds last time I checked. I'm not like nasty skinny but I'm fairly skinny.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But yea I think I have a pretty fast metabolism, and I don't mind. Though it is kind of a pain hugging girls because most of them are pretty short-normal height, and I'm pretty tall, so it makes it slightly awkward, plus I'm a tad skinny. I usually just go for the one-armed hugs. Oh well =\.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have an inch and a pound over you :D

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hugging girls becomes a lot less awkward when you find a girl who will just bury her face against your chest. I love being tall 8-)

I was wondering if anyone would say that, I was 6ft tall in 7th grade. I don't like bending over to hug people... Anyway, I'm still 135 lbs, I probably have fastest metabolism in my year other than this kid who is 6% body fat. Now THATS a fast metabolism.

Not only do I have a fast metabolism, but i also think eating is an unnecessary waste of time... Oh yeah, and Cartman's my hero... If only I was fat...

Not really. Speaking as a skinny person, I want to gain muscle mass and therefore I want to gain weight, but it's not like I'm going to eat greasy food and crap just to gain a few unhealthy pounds.

Heh, i'm about 6"4 and I'm only around 150 or 160 pounds. I don't eat enough, but that's because I'm never really hungry. Then again, I play DDR like a beast so that burns off probly 1241294781924891 calories a play session.

Exactly, great to see somebody understanding this. If you're skinny and start putting on muscle mass, you wont be skinny anymore, but you wont be fat. You can weigh 220lbs at over 6 foot and you could be the slimmest person you know, because there's a difference between muscle mass and fat.

1.That's a common misconception. It has nothing to do with a fast metabolism. As long as you eat less calories than you take in, your body fat drops in terms of % (percentage). Anybody can get 6% body fat (but it will look pretty horrible unless you have lots of muscle to 'back it up')

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. Don't get too depressed. :P Even if he eats greasy chinese food and McDonalds stuff every day, he still consumes more calories than he eats. Remember that just sleeping and living itself consumes about 2,000 calories daily. A hamburger is about 150-200 calories. That's not counting the fact the guy could play football or something else.

Yeah, I sometimes wish I was tall, (4'10''/13 years old ftl?) because hugging a girl when she loves you to death and buries her head in your chest seems so much more passionite. Plus, when I had my first kiss, my girlfriend grabbed my head instead of my neck when we kissed. Lol :wall:

Anyways, I have a crazy fast metabolism. Can anyone suggest food that will help put on healthy weight? I've been starting with increases amounts of fish (for protein and that other thing...EPA or whatever, aswell as flax seed, also for those Omega 3's and 6's. I just started this, but I was wondering what are the best healthy foods to pack on pounds? Both for meals and snacks

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I work at McDonald's, and therefore get half-price stuff. But I don't eat it. Cuz I'll get fat.
