Might Quit Soon

 

Yep. I've been playing this game for more than 2 years, and I'm starting to get bored of it. Ever since I finished 99 Fishing I've been looking for excuses of stuff to do, often times just standing somewhere like Edgeville or the Grand Exchange.

 

 

 

Jagex's massive screw up today has just removed a lot of the aspects of the game I find important, such as drop parties and most importantly helping friends. Because of Jagex I can't give out money or supplies to friends anymore, or a Christmas or birthday gift.

 

 

 

Gonna think about it for a little bit and talk to my good in-game friends.

I agree, Jagex screwed the game up and I can see why you are quitting... Even though I didn't really know you you will be missed

Why I may Quit

 

Alright. So many of you have assumed that I'm quitting because of yesterday's trade system updates. Since you didn't get what I wrote above I'll make my reasons as plain as possible.

 

 

 

I've been playing Runescape for more than 2 and a half years and I'm bored. Also, I've come to realize that this is my last year of high school before I go to college and enter the real world, and I don't want to spend my senior year in front of a screen. I'll admit the updates were a small factor and may have been what pushed me off the edge.

 

 

 

I still don't know what I'm going to do, I have a few people I still want to talk to.

I can understand your reasoning Oreo, and I could see it coming.

 

 

 

RL is first, always. And its absolutely awesome that your grades have improved so dramatically in the past few weeks!! Yayyyy!!! :thumbsup:

 

 

 

If you do leave, I completely understand, and support your decision. You can always log in every so often into F2P and I'll come hang out with ya!

Farewell Friends

 

After 2 long years of playing this game, I'm done. I've come to realize that in only 7 months I'm going to graduate high school, then enter the real world. I don't want to spend the rest of my time in front of a screen, and I've decided to quit Runescape. Ever since 99 Fishing I have often found myself just standing around for an hour at a time, usually either in Edgeville or the Grand Exchange.

 

 

 

I will not however be leaving for good. I will still check Tip.It everyday, and will be logging onto Runescape about once a week, usually on weekends if I can, to talk to and hangout with friends. I will also be keeping membership. I've kept all the items in my bank, except for my signature Wizard (t) Robe Top and Bottom, which I've entrusted to my best friend Sheynara Any of my friends who still wish to talk to me or want me to login for a special occasion, just drop me a message here on Tip.It and I'll try my hardest to get online (no promises though).

 

 

 

This Blog was always a huge help and motivator to me during my goals, from 85 Mining to 99 Firemaking and finally 99 Fishing. It was the first Blog to break 100 Pages and 150 Pages on Tip.It, but Wakka beat me to 200 Pages. A lot of my good friends have been there with me along the path, and now I should say my goodbye to them:

 

 

 

Blink182 F55 - My Firemaking pyro twin brother. It was always a blast hanging out with you ingame and watching you get to 99 Firemaking. Its a shame you don't play as much as you used to, but real life does come first, and I'll miss you buddy. Best of luck getting your next 99! \

 

 

 

Wild Goat 14 and Rctycoon Fan - Two of the best skillers I know. Starting the GES with you guys was awesome, and I'm sorry about what happened a little bit down the road, and I'm glad you two were able to understand. Talking ingame was always fun, and I'm sure you two will both succeed in your future skilling and endeavours :mrgreen:

 

 

 

Wolfhunterxz - You're one of a kind. We've always had a great time together, usually being stupid in Edgeville but still its always been fun :

 

 

 

Erk02 - One of my oldest friends from the Tip.It community. We met way back when I was starting out my F2P Skilling in the first days of my Blog. I know you'll get 99 Range one day, and be sure to think of me everytime you put on that Zammy Blessed Dragonhide :D

 

 

 

Nekyia13 - You're just amazing, thats it. Slaying with you the past month has been wonderful. You've been a great friend, and you better remember to send me a message when you're gonna get 100 Combat :P

 

 

 

And to all my other friends: Toast, Dusty, Queenvalerie, Sirob, Saruman/I R Teh Noes, Lowc, Scope, Leesters, Bbq, Pinkbullet, Devoted, Tripsis, Dork Punker, Boy Power, Smavey, Asphodel, Wakka, Jesse, and so many more, I wish I had time to write a goodbye to all of you, but you've all been great 8-)

 

 

 

And finally to Sheynara, my best friend in all of Runescape - I don't know what to say Sheyy, we've known each other for more than a year (we added each other right before last year's Christmas Event remember?), and you've been the best friend anyone could ask for ever since. We've been through so much together. Everytime I needed support, someone to talk to, or even a person to just hangout with you were always there I could trust you with anything, and tell you anything, and know that you'd always have the right advice and always know what to say :D If it weren't for you I could have never achieved my goals or be where I was today, in Runescape and out. I can't really find the words to describe what else to say, but I want to thank you again for being the greatest friend ever, it means more to me than anyone will ever know Thanks for always being there, and remember, always keep smiling

Well done on making what many consider a hard decision. Wish I could have done the same going into uni but chose to carry on RS as a side thing, don't spend too much time playing but do get on for a good few hours.

 

 

 

It's even better when you find out your gf's little brother plays and she accepts you play too \ Not that I let it get in the way of anything lol.

It won't be the same with out u...but have fun irl... :D

today, rs loses one of a kind. oreo you were one of the nicest people i have ever met on rs, always gave great advice and always made me smile. you were by far my BIGGEST motivator when it came to 99 firemaking. i will always remember our matching outfits before you got that skill cape trimmed (3). I hope everything goes well for you irl and you always have a group of great freinds on rs, so stop by and say hello every once and a while. It is very said to see you quit, and it seems i am soon to follow, rl always comes over runescape and i understand why you are quitting. have a fantastic life and i really enjoyed the time i knew you, have fun buddy

That'd be the best decision, too bad i didn't quit my senior year. I lost touch with half my friends since i started college because i wasn't as close as i was in previous years.

I will miss you most of all Oreo, you are my best friend, and I will miss our long talks in game very much. Just as you said I have been there for you, you have been there for me, as a friend to talk to, getting levels, or just havin fun in Edgy, its not going to be the same without you. You have been my biggest motivator in all my achievements, standing beside me for nearly all my 99's, talking me out of giving up when I feel like giving up, yelling at me to "Fishhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"

 

 

 

Have an awesome time IRL, being with friends and having fun, going to Gloria Jeans and overdosing on caffeine, making Pez snort milkshakes, going to the movies, whatever you do, keep on smiling. :wink:

 

 

 

I will look after your Wizard Robes (t), and will never part with them until you ask for them back, if you decide one day to play again in the future. :
