Actually you could get an idea checking the rare item forums and keeping track of the trading. Besides some people don't even trade their rares so they might as well not exist. I bet some very accurate estimates could be created.

im sure someone like duke freedom could guesstimate a very rough number. i doubt its completely impossible...

Impossible to get an accurate answer. The only thing guessable is probably crackers and a select few party hats.

Probably the most likely guess I've seen so far. Who knows how many people have rares in their bank for a rainy day? Even crackers.

Well, if lets say... (just a guess) 400,000 players on thew day of Christmas Cracker. Maybe 30,000 of them got one? or more? For each of the holiday rares ... possibly 100,000? 40,000 lost/banned/hacked and banned? 60,000 left?
