The drop rates for clues haven't gone down. It just seems to take a lot longer since that's what you're specifically waiting for.

No. got 2 clues (lvl 3) today, and 1 was just from randomyl attacking an elf

i think it's easier to get them lol, i've gotten 3 since the update (2 level 2's and 1 level 3)

I'd say definetly because I used to be able to get a clue scroll within 15 minutes of killing goblins. Now I tried for an hour and half and got none.

Sure, since the update I've gotten a few clues quickly.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But I still say yes because the other 10 or so clues have taken me a bizarrely long time. I've been trying to get a clue currently for like 3 hours at abby demons. Just got a d med before a clue... :shock:

No, they didn't drop the rate of clue drops. It's just that when you have the motive of trying to get one it seems like a lot longer, where as if you were just training normally and got a clue drop you would think "wow, they are easy to get". Comprende?

Haven't noticed it change at all. Got quite a few off greaters without any lengthy gap between them.

I think blue drags just don't drop clues very often. I've killed quite a few of them and I've only ever gotten one clue scroll. Monsters like jellies and dagganoths I get a clue pretty often.

In my opinion it hasn't changed. I'm still getting them as fast as i got them before the new treasure trails update. Or maybe i'm just lucky :

If you want clues, kill slayer monsters. Blue dragons never seem to drop clues on a frequent basis. I have had no problems getting clues from turoths and kurasks.

It would make sense. There would be so many people trying to get clue scrolls that if the same old fast rate was kept, the prizes would lose their value.

If you wait something really badly, then the time feels like going slower...

To me, it seems like the hams are very nice after this update 20 clues, only once knocked out (either in jail or outside) ;)

200 green dragons killed, 4 clues, i still get alot

1 clue in 250 greens

 

 

 

Went to hellhounds and got 1 clue in 100 of them

 

 

 

Back at greens. 150 killed...stiill not clue

I killed 3 blues in heroes and got a clue already

I've only noticed a decrease in the rarity of Level 3 clues.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If anything, Level 1's have increased.

 

These threads are misleading. There are 29 views and 3 yes replies. I'd assume the 20+ other people think otherwise, because they didn't post. But by reading this post, 3 out of 3 replies say yes, and make it seem like there has been a change - and it's even more misleading because thinking with that kind of a mentality makes people persuaded to agree.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I can't really explain what I mean other than giving an example. If I were to make a thread randomly saying that catching lizards in hunter is slower now, I would get replies agreeing, because at whatever instant, the people think they're having bad luck, so they blame it on a programming change.

i think your wrong on that, those 20+ people may be multiple people, perhaps the creater looked at it multipled times, and u read the topic, then u post a reply, then u look at it again=2 views(or how i think it works?).....even if perhaps 20+ people have looked at this how can this be misleading, it may lead us to clear up wether or not drop rates have gone up or down, leading us into the right direction if good evidence is presented. Even if those 20+ somewrad people did not think the drop rates had gone down or up, some of them might not have had any intentions on trying for a clue? perhaps thats why they did not chose to post? As you can see i can post many more variables you missed, but right now i'm just acting like a smart allic, just trying to tell people that you are wrong, or you could be right, just a little off or a litttle more on then you thought you'd be, i didn't want your post to mislead people......

I took out a third because of variables like that, which you completely failed to notice. We could even take half, or a quarter and we're at 3 out of 7, still under half.

i got one more today, then went back to kill more elves and got another on the first kill. two within 30 minutes.

With everyone and their mother trying to get a clue scroll for the new 3rd age armor I decided to try and get one. I've been at blue dragons for quite a while and no luck getting a clue. Has anyone else notice a change?
