What would "break" Runescape

Luke

Recommended Posts

Ok,

Runescape is a game that is 70% run by players, and 30% run by Jagex, if you dont know what i mean by that..forget it. :-w

Well, Runescape runs like clockwork, supply and demand, skills and skillers, buyers and sellers..you get the idea

But what would you have to take out of RS for it to "break" if you know what i mean? no?..use your immagination then..

EXAMPLES :

Take out yew trees...no yew longbows, no real alching item, so the magic skill slowly dies, there is no real use for nature runes so ess minershave no real use..

best i could come up with tbh.

see if you can come up with your own

Taking out Party Hats: Probably 30% of Runescape is playing for the ultimate goal of owning one

Taking out Discontinued Items in general: See "Taking out Party Hats"

Taking out Quests: These help people do everything. Without them, not only would Herblore come to a screetching stop (no Druidric Ritual quest to get started), but you also wouldn't have anything to unlock new items with balance to be used (Imagine if everyone could use Ancient Magic at any given time...).

don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?

Officially reached 100 Combat at 1:33PM EST, June 14, 2007

First Dragon Drop: Dragon Chain (Dust Devils) @ 10:48PM EST, July 14, 2008, lv113 combat

Reasonably speaking (no idiot's going to remove all servers  ), I'd have to agree that taking out discontinued items would make a lot of people very, very angry.

Thus, why Jagex has promised it will never do that. :P

By the way, a question about Druidic Ritual: Is it really necessary to do that quest for herblore still? I mean, what with Tomes of Experience, Antique Lamps, and all that... Or does it not let you put XP into Herblore if you haven't finished the quest?

To answer your question: Yes, you do have to do the Druidic Ritual. I've tried using a lamp on the skill before I did the quest, and it said that you have to complete it first.

Another thing that would ruin the Runescape economy.. opening a shop that stocks hundreds of each kind of tradeable rare.

Or maybe take out the ability to chat :ohnoes:

taking out the wc skill :S

would ruin the whole economy... no woodcutting, no fletching, therefore no flax pickers, and then, no bowstring crafters... no bow alchers, and thus, no nature runecrafters... then, less abyss rcers, and then less abyss pkers, meaning, less demand in sharks/food, meaning that that price would go down, this would lead to less persons cooking.. this would make it harder to sell fish, and not so many would fish...

another thing about less pkers, fewer people buying pots, seeng that the price on super attacks and super strenghts at least would go down in price, making less ppl herbloring, making less ingredient gatherers...

in all these places, it would take down ways to earn money... and would have a very bad inpact on the economy

then another little one... no firemaking :S

there is probably more things, that i can't find out now... but, let me guess... i have the worst?

here are some

taking out all good and high level people then all that would be left is beggers and noobs

taking out everyone then there is no 1 too play

taking out all money then people would only barter like with err stuff like dragon long swords

taking out all monsters and taking out wilderness so there will be no way to train combat and no more high and mighty drops like d chain and no more clue scrolls

One word: Taxes.

[hide=]

tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :(
But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities.
That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Those PETA bastards will never see it coming until the porcupines are half way up their asses.

Apparently a lot of people say it. I own.
