What must you do before you die?

Well, that's the question. What must you do before you die?

- See the Red Sox win the World Series LIVE!

- Execute a famous person.

- See the sign for Bethpage Black Course in New York.

- Many more!

- Travel to many places....With Viktor!

So what would you love to do before you die?

-Possibly fight in a war

:notalk:

War is delightful to those who have no experience of it

Anyways, things I want to do before dying are definitely making over $1M cash, visiting North Korea before the country crumbles, and hopefully lots of basejumps from cliffs or airplanes 8-)

Why would you want to execute a famous person?

I would like to:

- have a wonderful hot passionate loving relationship and get married

- have kids

- do something to further social justice in the world (abolish the prison system as we know it, perhaps, and institute centers of reform ideally - but realistically, a smaller action towards this same end :D )

- bungee jumping

- dye my hair in alternating turquoise and bright pink stripes

- travel. Alone or with a single partner. In hostels, meeting other travellers, but mostly to meet the people who actually live in each individual place.

Everybody hug and spread the love :D

It is kind of depressing to label them as such, why not "things to do whilst we're alive" as opposed to things to do before we die, as the precious seconds tick away... tick, tock, tick, tock. Quick! Swim with a dolphin! Find one! Find one! QUICKLY!

- Climb to Macchu Picchu's Sun Gate via the Inca Trail, inspired by my mum. <3:

- Win a dancing title.

- Meet (please don't spam about this, this is another thing I want to do before I die and is not worthy of lengthy discussion and it probably won't happen anyway) Pandaman and AshKaYu.

- Fall deeply in love and get married.

- Do London - Brighton every year between the age of 14 and 25.

An extra thing I would like to do but again probably won't happen is to get a story published. I know it sounds ambitious, and I will try my best.

Those who have seen the true horror of one battlefield rarely wish to see another

I'm sorry but I have to grab this chance of showing this poem to more people. It's by Sgt. Joshua Helterbran, a 224th Engineer Battalion.

The soldier stood and faced God,

Which must always come to pass,

He hoped his shoes were shining,

Just as brightly as his brass.

"Step forward now, you soldier,

How shall I deal with you?

Have you always turned the other cheek?

To My Church have you been true?"

The soldier squared his shoulders and

said, "No, Lord, I guess I ain't,

Because those of us who carry guns,

Can't always be a saint.

I've had to work most Sundays,

And at times my talk was tough,

And sometimes I've been violent,

Because the world is awfully rough.

But, I never took a penny

That wasn't mine to keep...

Though I worked a lot of overtime

When the bills got just too steep,

And I never passed a cry for help,

Though at times I shook with fear,

And sometimes, God forgive me,

I've wept unmanly tears.

I know I don't deserve a place

Among the people here,

They never wanted me around,

Except to calm their fears.

If you've a place for me here, Lord,

It needn't be so grand,

I never expected or had too much,

But if you don't, I'll understand."

There was a silence all around the throne,

Where the saints had often trod,

As the soldier waited quietly,

For the judgment of his God.

"Step forward now, you soldier,

You've borne your burdens well,

Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,

You've done your time in Hell."
