Me and team got scammed hilt, guy was new and a stranger and the very first we recruitted:

When i first joined the first thing i wanted to do was go Pking! (yes at level 3...) So i got to the edge (no wildi ditch :( ) And was planning a route for my journey. This level 66 guy came upto me and pointed it out the item up ahead. It was a black platebody. (i thought they looked good at the time :wink: )

 

 

 

He asked me to get them and i said why don't you get them. He said he had been temp banned from the wildi for killing too many people. I just smiled and said sure i'll get it for you :P

 

 

 

Anyway as i picked it up and pressed examine and tried to wear it, blah blah blah. He attacked me and said time to die. So i attacked him back and said no you die. He killed me but that idiot only got bones. I kept his luring item and got my very own black platebody :P

 

 

 

This is true btw. So that was my very first scam and i beat the scammer! Woot go me!

I agreed knowing it would be a scam. He got me down to 10 health and stopped. Then he said well done and traded four dragon battle axes for my time. Luckily smart old me new that dragon battle axes were kept ahead of whips so he traded and before he could kill me, getting 4 free dragon battle axes and keeping my whip :thumbsup:

i was maging with all my runes and this guy told me how to duplicate by dropping them, walking two spaces away and pressing alt f4. so i walk forward one spot and pretended to drop my runes and my robes then walked two spaces away and pressed it then went back on the same world and was like "whoa!!! it worked" and hes like "really?" and i showed him my runes and said i had one of each before then i left :D

Just got a whip... and i was in fally bank, and this guy says "buying whip 2.5", so I thought i could sell it and then buy it back and make a ton of money... Then, when i trade him, he offers a seers ring. And then i noticed another guy in the bank saying "buying seers ring 3.7", so I get all excited since I'm gonna make a ton of money... (of course, I didn't check the price on forums, thinking I could sell it to the other kid for 3.7) Well, it turned out both people were coordinating the whole thing, I sell the whip for seers ring, go to sell it to him, and he says he needs to get money. Then, of course, he logs out. I'm still like "oh well, i can sell it on the forums for a decent amount and then buy my whip back" (I really don't know the prices of things), anyways, I look on forums, and what do you know? they sell for a whopping 400k. woohoo. Now I have to make it all back. (and by the way, I had gotten hacked and I had made all the money to buy the whip, and had it for about 2 hours) :oops:

I have just this second been scammed by a heartless individual. I don't know how it happened with the new "fool proof" 3k limit... But i can't do anything about it because it's my own stupid fault...

 

 

 

I had full guthix prayer robes. 395k at the GE. Some guy in barrows armour comes upto me and says he wants them for 2 mill. I tell him that it wont work because of the new 3k limit. He says just try it. So i do but it says he is full. So he says tke my potions as well. So he offers potions and 2 mill. I accept but he modifies it to 20k i didn't notice this because everytime we tried to trade he would originally put up 3mill then modify it and i thought that was why it was flashing. He was very clever, i can see this now. He was trying to rush me and it worked. And i accepted and this new 3k limit has failed.

 

 

 

I spent months of 2007 getting my Guthix and now i have stupidly sold it for 20k. And i can't do anything about it because it is my own fault. And if i could do anything about it he'd say "He shouldn't of accepted".

OK this is obviously a lie but have you seen a look at his sig. Being an avid Pokemon fan at the age of 13 (go me) i can see that that is a Pikachu which is a Pokemon. Also it says "I hurd you like mudkiepz" Now i'm not 100% on this but Mudkiepz sounds like the Water Pokemon Mudkip which implies more Pokemon related things onto you. So don't try and spread lies about him which clearly put you in the spotlight.
