Rune Plate itself weighs 9KG, and Granite Body weighs 22 KG. Just checked myself.

So this gives a tiny bit more def then rune, yet has higher reqs and costs a boss point + 95k (while rune can easily be bought from players for 60k)? I still say to choose either rune or barrows. (Rune for cost and barrows for stats.)

It does look kinda chunky... but perhaps we can get a screenie for someone with granite legs AND body together? Sometimes things look better with matching equipment. Also, can we get a screenie (or at least a post) of the stats for d chain and compare?

i got one too ^_^ - anyways, they will be ALOT rarer than d chains in my oppinion - you need to go through the whole wave each time for another plate - the queen kill goes each bought thing

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

also, i like it, though it looks abit fat, it only costed 95k- much more reasonable than the 15m dchain or the, what was it now... 30m(?) 3rd age plate. for a plate better than rune, id vote for this anyday

On another note: Slayer just became a little more profitable, and if this keeps up, skeletal wyverns may just be about as profitable as abbysal demons? Doubtful, but you never know. :D

d chain prices wont be hit too hard. come on zamorak wont ever turn from his evil ways which means that there's prob like a .0000000000001 % chance of getting one anyways not to mention you have to get 500 points anyways multiple times to gamble more than once

third age was obviously too expensive for most players.

But they are introducing a lot of new armours, to potentially lower the price of d chains, and also giving a new way of getting d chains...

overall i dont see anything more then a novelty item in this plate. the whole set may look good on a granite pure :twisted:

the new plate looks cool but i perfer good ol rockshell(rune amour is just too common for me)
