malo2
that looks pretty sweet, altho way too expensive. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one if I had that money to throw around. also, BTTF, you're not making any sence. Lastfm
deloriagod
ipods are extrememly over rated~!!! :XD: anyway the phone looks ok, i would rather just get an ok phone, and mp3 player and a psp for that much money (and all of those would be a hell of alot better!) Yes you could buy those three items. But why would you add the PSP in there? There are MP3 players that play movies. Let's do a little price checking here.. Your list:I'm making the MP3 player an iPod since this is a topic about Apple. PSP - $250 Phone - ~$50 4GB MP3 Player - $200 Total - $500 A simpler list: 30GB iPod Video - $250 Phone - ~$50 Total - $300 It's nice to know our youth is willing to spend an extra $200 on something that isn't even needed. indy500fan
It's nice to know our youth is willing to spend an extra $200 on something that isn't even needed. Well, none of it is needed. I get by just fine without a hand held gaming device, mp3 player, or cell phone.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy one if I had that money to throw around. also, BTTF, you're not making any sence. Mind telling me how I don't make "sence?" That's another good point - tactile feedback. Many people prefer the intuitiveness and definite feel of a mechanical button, and I imagine that using such a surface to try and dial or type while driving or something of that nature would be rather hard. Pressing three things on a satellite navigation system is one thing, typing ten numbers accurately on a 3.5" screen and hitting Send would probably be a bit harder. handed me TWO tissues to clear up. I'd wager that almost every satellite navigation user has, and nowadays that's a lot of people. But satalite navagation is legal and most people mount the on the dash in direct line of sight. With a phone you need to keep the cops from seeing it so you need to take your eyes of the road to see what your doing. ~Dan64AuSince 27 Aug 2002

There's a few places to have made it illegal, and I think more places need to. I've seen way too many people run red lights while dialing their phone. Internet Marketing For Newbies

Celluzion
I still prefer my N73. Maybe it's because I'm stupid with cellphones. I have no idea what my N73 can do besides play music, videos, text, call(with\without video), and Bluetooth. I think, however, for USD $499, I could get an N73, and an MP3 player, AND extra pocket money. Known formerly as Ameoba3000. Now known as Vigoss. yomom1919
500 bucks isnt that much compared to what the original ipod could do for 500 bucks when it came out. Im just concerned: how much a month is the contract? Im expecting it to be somewhere around 70$ a month. That would not be cool.
vladmoney
I think this is a good move by apple, multi-tasking devices is the future. It looks great too, i have been wanting to see a full screen mp3 player from ipoo for some time now. and the fact that it runs OS X. Smart move integrating that in. I am going out and buying as many Apple Inc stock as I can. I am def not getting one, but you know other people will flock to this. I just hope it doesn't have major glitches, but like that will stop the sales. Visit my DeviantArt Page at http://vladmoney.deviantart.com

It will be a cut-down version of OS X, like how Windows Mobile is cut-down. It won't be the same as on Macs. Edit: Actually it will be more cut-down than WM. Consumerist[/url]":1l5vijki]Press reports today said the phone will not accept third-party applications Bye bye major reason for owning one. So I cant run Skype. That really sucks because then my landline number (really a skypeIN number) would be alot more useful when at home. ~Dan64AuSince 27 Aug 2002

Parabola
I disagree with that, if you want them to not cost extra that may be the case, but in all my dealings with O2, and getting the best phones from them, I have only ever had to do 12 months.
