January 23, 200719 yr Well, a few days ago my friend informed me with a great, great training spot. Now, I was reluctant to do this because my defense was only 20(Now 30), But some how he forced me to do it. After training on the Flesh Crawlers for 10 minutes and getting a full inventory, I stepped out of the Stronghold. 700 Fire Runes, 100 Dust Runes and a Half Key sat in my inventory. Not to mention a full inventory of Unids. I realized that these monsters are AMAZING training, as I had gotten 10k or so xp in the process. I went back for another trip, and I was more amazed! Another Half Key, 1k of fires and 150 dusts! And again, a full inventory of Unids. What I'm trying to say is do you thyink that JaGeX is going to Nerf these things, like they did to the minotaurs? Discuss =D>
January 23, 200719 yr Hmm, that's 60k an hour? Not bad I guess, they are also pretty good for herbs to. No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.
January 23, 200719 yr EDIT: Just realized you said the xp per hour, sorry. Anyway, the only thing that the Security Stronghold is good for is Ankous, unless you can prove me wrong. 60k xp is ok I guess, but not that grand. Mugutu

January 23, 200719 yr Hmm.. I tried to get a clue from an ankou, instead got wep poison... I still don't know where I'll get a lvl 3 clue... On December 10, 2007, after a long struggle, I finally gave up membership, as the only thing I did in RS, pking, was gone.Jages, you just bit the hands that paid you.

January 23, 200719 yr I love the ankous! The deaths and bloods are great drops. However I find the experiments are a better monster to fight, only lvl 25 but have 101 hp.

They nerfed it quite quickly. Retired.
January 23, 200719 yr I've never trained down there, but once i did a burthorpe minotaur task and they stank. Although i didn't realized they were nerf'd. But I hear ankous are great training and have decent drops. January 24, 200719 yr It is definitely the best place to train in f2p, but I didn't know it would be so useful to p2pers too. I'll remember to go there (especially to get my herblore up :roll: )

January 24, 200719 yr those are good drops, but in terms of unids...well you don't have the highest herblore, so a lot could be lower lvl herbs, but i guess they coul still go for 1k ea. Currently subsisting off of God Wars: 3 shards, 1 bandos hilt, 2 sara swords, 1 steam staff, and 2 zamorak spears.
