The only time they were nice to the community as a whole was up until miniclip came out really. Don't blame them, miniclip was a dagger to the heart of the decent community Runescape had at sometime. This means that in the wild pkers get one less item from loot, as Jagex hasreleased a lot of untradeable , good, items and therefore pkers are only getting things like legs and amulets. Not sure how the new helmet would be better for training though. I think I'd rather have 5 attack bonus from warriors helmet over no attack bonus and just 3 strength. I understand why Jagex does it because they don't want pures who have more money to be able to buy there way through levels, But come on.... fighter torso +4(or 5) strength and amazing defence and a new helm better then zerker both of which are untradeable. Might as well make untradeable potions food weapon and then just have it when you die you keep everything. (dont forget the updated salve too btw, it doesnt look that big, but has a huge advantage imo, and "less is more") + i also like the new small additions/corrections they make. jessy87 Posted February 7, 2007 Share Posted February 7, 2007 trolls and yaks for training, already had trolls. yaks arent that great. mining spots with anvils and furnaces near. : convenience is all its not even amazingly convenient. decent armour and weapon shops. : mithril is decent? a helm better than zerker. : id call it equal +1 crush def is something i dont care about. but its a good helm none the less. and a one clikc bank for the fletchers! : not that amazing honestly i dont even like 1 click banks for fletching, why? because a real bank such as catherby bank wouldnt allow randoms inside except for the mysterious old man. he teles in leaves box/maze/mime. and i wanted to finish my mime emotes recently. how is this a high lvl update? what do you define as a high lvl? those trolls are hard to train on realistically in the mulitcombat, in the other non-multi areas its okay, but then you could just go back to the easier trolls... mining spots thats not that amazing, the rune ore is okay but its crowded and once again multi-trolls that hurt pretty good. the furnace ghost city is probably almost as good, really. i use my ectophial to tele quickly to the furnace if i want to smelt stuff, but this place is a click of a lyre which i hate recharging and then a good run distance. so getting their kind of blows. the helm, is okay. i mean its a helm, we have its equal already in game, it would be nice to see better stuff, but hey this is nice to i like the prayer bonus and a cheap replacement for a berserker helm. how can people complain? no really, people can complain probably for the same reason the world is not as good as it has potential to be, independent thought. really, if we had 1 perfect(key word) person dictating over the whole world it probably wouldnt be so bad today. but since noone is perfect we do what we feel is the next best thing, democracy. how is this a high level update? the trolls would grind a level 30 into the ground :twisted: pray run eat... lvl 43s get fire capes, you dont think some1 could run thru trolls eating food? but okay lvl 30 is low so maybe not... but i saw lvl 72's doing this quest yesterday, and lower lvls but a lvl 72 is not a high lvl he is a low lvl and really if its a high lvl update tripple digit combat should be a requirement, lvl 100 takes... 2months i bet of serious training to get to. not really that big of a deal. Might as well make untradeable potions food weapon and then just have it when you die you keep everything. Fighter torso has amazing defence? Puh-lease. Perhaps one of the reasons for all the untradeable stuff is an attempt to drain cash out of the game. Think about it. When was the last time you bought mystic from the mages guild? Never. After a sufficient supply gets into the game, players just buy from players. Untradeable stops that. You only have 1 source of an item (barrows gloves from the chest, for example.)
