This week I just bought a cannon and cannon balls. I am all pumped up because I have never used a cannon before and my intentions were to get fast range xp. So I went to my favorite place to train, rock crabs. Not to my surprise, the place was flooded with people. A few people say hello, or hi to me and I say hello back of course. As I set up my cannon I ask them how they are doing or how their day is going. Immidiately they see the cannon and they say.... "bad now." I am like... alright.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

People through-out my session come up to me and say, "Cannon Noob", or things along those lines.

You bought it, Use it, It's their fault for not wanting to be more effciant and getting levels faster. Now, If you just walk up and Plant it down while they were there first. That's rude. But, If you found an empty world, and they come and call you those things. They are purely just wanting to pick a fight.

So ya if your not using it for a slayer task if u ask me then i think thats not using a cannon to its full potential....and that in itself seems nooby :lol:

Funny thing is, they can steal the monster back before the cannon gets around. Free 30 on the monster before you attack it :lol: .

I've got no problem with cannons, especially on slayer tasks as there are heaps of monsters, but for something like rock crabs, if a bunch of people are ALREADY there and training and you plonk a cannon right in the middle of where they are training, thats a bit rude. :shame:

i think theyre a bit annyoing at dags when someone just coes and steals all the dags, but i think they arnt nooby

i think it's like 2.5 exp per 1 hit so you hit average of bout 15, so lets say 30exp per one so for 2k thats 60k exp....not that good, i don't see why everyone loves cannons...for slayer, yes for training no...if you wanna train range fast go fire giants they are much better exp and you lose no money...

 

 

 

what is even worse than this is people who use cannons in single combat areas....that is noobie, all they are doing is taking up all the spawns and confusing themselves because they get attack by one, try to hit it then get attacked by another try to hit etc

the thing is you can use a lot of cannon balls fast geting a lot of xp or something like that

Do what I did with my cannon. Go to a non-English speaking world that was really empty, head off to dags (no-one there), set your cannon up and away you go. If anyone comes and gives you grief, who cares you can't understand them anyway. :thumbsup:

However, you should not feel ashamed of cannoning, its good slayer and range xp, dont worry about the people who call you noob, they are most likely jealous

I'll hop if I see a spot occupied, and another time if the next world is occupied by someone I know, but I wont hop more than 3 times. Not going to hop all day when im going to be called a noob no matter what.

You've done the quest and earnt the right to use the cannon, and if you're already training with the cannon before the people that complain then they should be the ones hopping.

Going to a server with people already there then setting up a cannon is a "noobish" thing to do. When I used cannon at the Enclave I had to switch to find an empty world. Occasionaly If I saw 2 worlds with 1 person in them each I'd ask if one of them wouldn't mind changing. Back then you can change instantly so it wasn't much of a problem and they were happy to do it most of the time.

If you are refering to me then no. I don't like populated worlds. Before choosing a world I try to pick an Isolated world on the list, and go there. I do not show off my cannon, there is nothing to show off. 3/10 times I will go to a world and there is a cannon already there.
