Items which you can sock tend to have a gem set bonus. To get the bonus you need to place the correct coloured gems in the correct sockets. You usually get some extra +sta or +str. That make sense, I thought the sockets HAD to match up with the gems to work. :lol: Just bought myself some nice shoulders =D, need 7 more Emblems of Heroism for a decent waist item while is the last green I have (other than a trinket). Then just need a decent 1 handed weapon and another 25 emblems of heroism to get the off-hand thing and I think I should just about be ready for at least OS lol. But usually, the socket bonus is always never worth it. Being a mage, I'd stack spell power. DarkDude Posted July 9, 2009 Share Posted July 9, 2009 Done a bit more today, got an epic wand from AN heroc and that's it (only run 3 heroics so far today). Switched to Arcane spec which is helping me lot (2.5k+ DPS now for bosses and 2k average). Made some Black Duskweave trousers, bought a mantle of runecasting I think it's called and then got an epic sash for 40 emblems. Then I did OS10, 3rd highest DPS. Crap loot from the boss however so I got nothing :( Might try running a few more HCs before bed and see if I can get anything else. http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet ... =Milfamore Although it's not working for me atm. Probably going to try OS25 tomorrow to get some more gear and run a few more HCs, then might try and get in a Naxx 10 group. Edit: Ran GunDrak and got a level 200 robe. Thought It was only tier 7/8 Anyway, done OS25 today, rolled 95 on a dragon hide bag and got that. Then immediately rolled 95 on tier 7.5 gloves after too. Mwuhahaha, so far I have a 100% win record today =P It's annoying trying to find a pug group for Naxx, they're all saying that you need the achievement for beating it already plus the epic achievement... which is especially stupid for naxx10 which doesn't even give 213 items >_< Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Generally if it has .5 on the end it comes from the 25man version and if it doesnt it's from 10 man. So t7 would be 10-man naxx and t7.5 is 25 man naxx. Vault is a bit different because there's 2 tier levels in one instance, so 10-man archavon drops t7 and 10-man emalon drops t8. 25-man archavon drops t7.5 and 25-man emalon drops t8.5. It tells you which part of a quest you should do and gives you the fastest path (which is always the same, not like QH which randomizes and often gives really crappy quest paths). Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks. Thats the key to end game stuff, getting a group of friends while leveling and then just start raiding and stuff with them. I don't hate the guides but its a very linear way to play a MMORPG Not really. I used a guide all the way to 78 and I didn't have any trouble meeting people. When I'm questing in an area I used to have the problem of not having any quests for my level, only 2+ levels above me... And that's not fun. Not a problem if you're a paladin but my mage has a lot more trouble handling several mobs 2-3 levels higher than me. And questing in WoW is not that fun imo, kill X of that times a thousand is basically what the questing is. Then went to the arachnid quarter, first boss there, do most DPS there too. So they kick me from the group =/ Pissed me off so much as now I'm going to have to wait until next week to run it again when I'm obviously geared for it. They already had done the arachnid quarter and were just starting on The Construct Quarter Cleared all bosses with minimal effort, Patchwerk went fine, died on Grobbulus after having the debuff thing on me and a healer not spotting me :( but I got the shoulders and the trinket from that :D Wiped at Gluth first time as the off-tank DCed, went perfect the second time, got him as he was casting decimate for the 2nd time. Thaddius went well, no trouble at all, being able to blink between the two sides helped a lot. Got the sash from that :) Now have 4 213 epics and only one item that's not 200 (black duskweave legs, 187, made myself). and 4 level 200 ones. http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet ... =Milfamore Still need to run VoA10 this week and hopefully next week can get a full clear of both Naxx10 and Naxx25.
