Decided to resubscribe, made a friend give me scroll of resurrection for a few k gold. Leveling has been pretty boring so far, I just hope I can enjoy endgame when I get there again.

Like, whats the quest? Is it Alliance based?

I thought it was the Howling Fjord rare, but I didn't think he was tamable.

 

 

 

In other news, tracked down Terror Spinner and Dirkee for my Frostbitten achievement, and Okrek and Evercore for my Bloody Rare. <3

If you think you're having problems with getting ganked, try being a shaman sometime.

 

 

 

Some people figure that if you're playing on a PvP server that you'd want to PvP. I know, I know, it's a crazy ideal.

 

 

 

It's not PvP when there's about 5 level 80s camping you so when you spawn you die instantly.

 

 

 

It was in the quest area where I needed to hand in quests, what the hell am I meant to do?

 

 

 

Rally some players in the area, try and get away and move to another questing zone momentarily or just try and fight. The best moments in PvP after all happen when you're cornered and out numbered. That's just my view of everything though. Of course I may just be used to other games with more PvP in them, I know that my old guild in Lineage II would have 5 guys ready and willing to go PK anyone even threatening to touch me.

 

 

 

World PvP can't happen without a catalyst. It's a shame that people in WoW can't figure that out yet.

Some do because of mongoose - go run ZA ( I think ) and get it, I'll be rich with so many people needing it

Anyone actually care about achievements? Some of them alright I guess, but showing your /love to critters etc. are just stupid time wasters. I guess I'd rather be pvp'ing then hunting down critters or books or whatever else.

Moving on, my Shaman's almost hit level 50. ;D

 

 

 

Dual-wielding's been fun, but I miss using my Pacifier and seeing my enemy go from like full health to almost dead in one proc. :(

Done DTK already, got the ring from the final boss, it's an upgrade to what I had before although it has icky spirit :(

 

Also rolled 100 greed on some rubbish Epic, but it got me an achievement so not complaining :P

Spec into Icy Veins and Piercing Ice. And Imp Blizzard won't be very helpful unless you are AoE grinding.

Been a horrid first day of HCs, nothing too good =/

Ran about 8 HCs today I think, the day started off well with that ring I posted, then did HoL (Normal) and got the gloves + wand.

 

 

 

Then CoS which got me that hood which is the best item I got, and Violet Hold for a trinket and the dragon necklace from UK, which is useless as I can already upgrade it with EoH =/

 

 

 

All of the things I got I wasn't challenged for, and all the ones I was challenged on I lost, must be a good 6 rolls I lost today on things I needed :s including 3 in nexus alone. In other HCs just nothing good dropped :(

53 on my Shaman, gearing up my Druid tank, and my Paladin's pretty much rotting in a corner out of a lack of things to do. :(

don't ever gem for stam dark. also some created items are pretty good so look into what you can make with tailoring or buy from other professions.

 

 

 

There was nothing else useful gem wise so I just stuck that in for something as it didn't cost too much. Given it has spirit I assume I'll get something better more tailored for mages.

 

 

 

As for tailoring, think I'm a couple of levels short of being able to create stuff that would actually be usable, but should be able to start making things soon. I've checked the AH for things but there's pretty much nothing in terms of armour or weapons on my server atm, for example the highest level 1 handed sword is in the 50s :?

Items which you can sock tend to have a gem set bonus. To get the bonus you need to place the correct coloured gems in the correct sockets. You usually get some extra +sta or +str.
