Watching people one-hit a chicken I was struggling to kill. That was at level 3.

i made 2 to keep 1 and i carried it for like a month

I spent the first few hours of playing worried that I was being stalked by a player called "Man". Everywhere I went he kept turning up. :ohnoes:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I had the same problem with someone called "Mugger" in Varrock who kept killing me. #-o I wondered why he didnt respond when I kept on saying to him "Please dont kill me again"

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I had no idea that here were humanoide npcs in the game, and it really amazed me when I finally realised. :XD:

protect from melee i used to think it was a symbol that meant the player was like a hero or soemthing

The 'protect from...' spells amazed me. I thought it was because they were some sort of hero too. :)

well, i was walking around as a newbie looking at stuff, and every piece of ground starts to become darker and darker. and a skull appeared in my bottom right corner... i had no idea wat it ment so i kept walking... until i finally saw someone who asked me: what is a lvl 3 doing in the wilderness? i was like: what? i'm in the wilderness!? aaaaaah!!!!!!!!!!! but the nice girl... or guy (i don't know what people are these days... guys are girls on runescape... strange :ohnoes: ) anyways she/he leads me out of the wilderness and lets me continue my journeys :thumbsup:

I remember walking up along what seemed a long road (the path from lumbridge through the farms towards varrock.). I remember the cows, and how one almost owned me, so I ran away yelling "Mad cow! Run for your life!". :XD: I remember finding some player who was low on health killing cows, so I cooked some beef and sold it to her for 45 gp.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then I logged out and spend ages studying the world map, trying to figure out where I was. Finally got my bearings, took all the cash I had earned on my trek north and spent it on runes at Aubury's shop, since I wanted to be a wizard. :

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I also thought that tinderboxes would wear out with use, so I made sure only to use it when absolutely necessary. :lol: And made it a goal to try to "beat" this game without dieing once.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Long time that goal lasted when I discovered pking the hard way. :P

I had a hard time understanding why the dark wizards kept attacking me (south of varrock) i would continue to wonder until one day on one of my daring mission while running through their circle they did not attack me! then i realized that they were only attacking me because i was like 10 lvls lower then them...I then understood how the monsters became aggressive towards lower lvl people.

the fact that: pwhen you went up a level you went down a level??

How ridicilous and totally weird. How on earth can you have purple armour! That's not normal then I saw someone in steel and I said: Finally someone who has a normal colour armour.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And how it was possible to get 30+ in a skill. I saw all those people cutting willows and I thought I would never be able to do that. :lol:

Why some peoples names were red when you right clicked them. I constantly asked everyone if my name was red. lol.

That i could actually know my own combat level without asking someone :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And also dragon maces and castle war armour amazed me.

I found it weird how some peoples combat level would appear in green and others in red, I couldn't figure out the whole 8 level higher/lower colour difference thing.. I kept asking my friends when my level was gonna turn red instead of green :lol:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Haha same with me. I think it took a good 5-6 months of playing to figure that one out :oops: I used to ask people if I was red yet. Then I'd be confused when someone said green and someone else said red.

getting a rune kite for 1gp(im still amazed at how stupid that guy was :XD: )

when i was still like lvl 28, i turned members and went to go buy a house, he said 1k, i'm ran screaming, "SCAMMER NOOB!!! I aint paying u 1k!!!111!!11! haha scammer!"then tryign to report an npc...lolz...

seeing the 'k' in the cash pile after reaching 100k. I was shocked to see '100k' instead of 100000gp. i went around asking people if there was a glitch.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

At around lvl 70, when i reached 1mil gp, i was dissapointed at not getting "M" in the cash pile. you would think i gottten the hang of the game by now....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

seeing someone in dragon armor and saying "omg dragon!! " for 15 min following the guy...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i saw a lvl 120 once in lumby and i went beserk asking for free stuff.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i fell for the trimming armor scam. i thought this guy would be able to trim my steel scimmy and kiteshield. funny thing is..i had never seen trimmed armor b4..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i was surprised how ppl would actually buy coal for 100ea when they were that price.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i saw a guy with rune pick in the dwarf mines and he was mining iron super fast...

Way back in 2003 I started playing rsc and I knew about general stores but not about banks and so I would get robes and runes from the wizzy tower near Draynor and walk all the way Varrock (if I could find either one, sometimes it took awhile) and sell them to the general store. When I learned about banks i began fishing shrimps at the spot near Draynor. I rejoiced when I could finally catch anchovies. I made atleast 25k from walking back and forth selling my catch the the fish shop in Port Sarim.
