February 20, 200719 yr Why don't you give your money to poor people? I would never give poor people money. I'd give them food, I'd give them supplies, but never never money. Me doing staff.
February 20, 200719 yr Wow.. you guys don't get it at all. My goal in life is to never work again. I never said having a high paying job was worse than having a low paying job, but I refuse to use my money just to get a high paying job, when I could rather invest it and get out of working all together! Anyways, please get back on topic.. if your just going to flame me.. then i'll just ask a moderator to come delete your post. ~Defender~ That's... the point of getting a higher paying job. To get out of working faster than the schmuck who doesn't. Education is an investment to get said higher paying job, and thus get out of working faster. You might want to dwell on that. February 20, 200719 yr Why don't you give your money to poor people? I would never give poor people money. I'd give them food, I'd give them supplies, but never never money. Fine. Why don't you buy food and supplies with your money and give it to poor people then? With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

Why don't you buy food and supplies with your money and give it to poor people then? Because I'll be selfish and keep it for myself. And it's just a thousand dollars, that's nothing, it's not going to make any sort of difference. We had this discussion of here before. Me doing staff.

The last time I gave one of those Hobo's that stood by the side of the road 20 bucks with my Dad, we saw him in a Circle K an hour later buying a 12 pack of Miller Light. >.> My Farewell thread. Please post nicely, or die. :^_^:Yea, I'd vote for him too. But I don't think they let Iraqis vote :P

Not you, Defender the devout Christian who lives and breathes his religion. Therefore the christian thing to do (which he lives and breathes!) would be to give poor people food and stuff. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. February 20, 200719 yr ^ Not if the poor people are sinners! In which case he should smite them, or possibly stone them. Stick with the mini fridge idea to be honest
February 20, 200719 yr A thousand bucks really isn't that much money. I'd put half in a bank account and spend the other half to help my family get in a (slightly) better financial state, or an iPhone. I really really really really want one of those. Lol, I laughed when you compared those 2 things. Decisions, decisions... :P Nah, really, though, iPhones are impractically expensive, because of paying for service too. Defender, good luck, but you can't do that, unless you wish to live off welfare. Pretty much true. Defender, you say you want to never have to work again, but you ALSO say you will not go to college. Let's see how well you do with a high-school-level education, no degree, and a job at McDonalds trying to make enough money to "never work again". P.S. Work is not a bad thing. It may seem difficult or something but work (manual labor or mental labor) is part of life, one-third of the work-play-social triangle (which should be kept balanced) and can be good for you, even. The problem is that so many people (including me a bit) are lazy.
February 20, 200719 yr Author You guys got completely off topic.. :( If this persists, i'll just ask a mod to close.. seriously get back on topic, I need more Ideas on what I could buy. ~Defender~ If you love me, send me a PM. 8 - Love me2 - Hate me
