It is still there, look in the Random Event section of the Manual. If it was removed from the game, it would have been taken out of there, too.

I've been playing RuneScape for over 2 years (2nd "B'day" 9 March) and I have not once seen that ugly demon looking thing. If he decides to show up, I think I'll tell him to go get .

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I also have noticed a lack of freaky foresters and mimes. Why I have never had these randoms? I will never know. (Maybe Jagex hates me :uhh: )
