and the worst one, in tunnels, lagged out the same moment i spawned guthan, so he attacked me, and did not attack him, logged in again.. and found myself in falador (dramatic music) but lucky, it was my ring of life that had saved me, i was down on 2hp :ohnoes:

After a night of "a few wines" at a friend's house I decide to go on Rs and do a clue that's been gathering dust in my bank for a good few days.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I log on, clumsily go through the clue and get one of the new emote clues - it's in the Karamaja banana place. I take out my whip, and DDS and a few random items for a quick kill but i don't restore prayer or eat.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Evetually I get to the banana plantation and do the required emote, and by this point im starting to feel like i'm about to KO, so after 4 specs and a quick change to whip i sit back and try to not be sick/sleep. I look back at the screen just as the mysterious pink man kills me. *Insert slurry obscenity here* I run to fally bank, grab 30 gp and speed towards Karamaja. When I get there i'm glad to see no-one else around and my death pile there so i click the pile a few times, not thinking about grabbing the most expensive items, and just as i do the pile disappears but I think nothing of it and log out.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Next morning I remember i was skulled for that clue, pesky pkers, and would have certainly dropped my whip when i was killed by the clue guy. I spend the rest of the day worrying that I was too drunk to pick up my whip, as i slowly start to remember what happened.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Turns out i managed to pick up the whip and my glory before I logged. Huge relief. Moral of the story, don't play Rs after drinking. Even though I have a few times after this...

I was at pest control (in the boat) with my new santa. My friends little brother wanted help with his maths. So I logged out and went to help him.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I log back in and i'm in lumbridge. With Cooking Cape, Rune Plate and Rune Legs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I was like :o. Remained so calm. My friends are like whats wrong? I walked to bank (with them sitting behind me) . And said "I'll just go make the money back" (Knowing there's no way i would).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then 1 friend said , wait a minute, whats that? Scrolled down my bank and there was my santa.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

They'd guessed my password and played an evil prank lol. But I was so relieved!

I dreamed I lost all my stuff. Then I woke up.

When in barrows tunnel, i opened a door and my tunnel brother dharock spawned, immediately "connection lost". Omg best time to disconnect! I login later to find myself in lumby with 5 hp left. I love you ring of life

I had a slight problem at Kharil when I got him in the tunnel. I wasn't to familiar with barrows then, my second trip orso. So I didn't expect him to pop up THERE!..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

scared, misclicked about twelve times before I finally got my prayer up. To late.. My bar turned red.. to red ..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Found myself in Falador. Freaked because I was scared I died, and also freaked why the hell I was in falador instead of lumbridge..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Forget I just did the quest which changes your spawnpoint. And thank god..Ring of Life!

Rings of life for the win!

Mine would have to be when I was barrowing and died to verac but I was so glad I kept my whip. \

i didnt realise it at the time but i was very lucky.. I was playing castlewars and wearing full dragon (this was back when the chain alone was worth about 32 m) and there was a server update. Turns out i got poisoned just before the update and then it logged me out. when i logged back in i was on like 6 health and the poison effect was still going. I banked fast lol

I was melleing blue dragons and i step to the side for a moment to look at the forums. When I look back at the game mr. hyde has me at 5 hp, I run away without getting hit again. I had full torag, whip, obby cape, and obby sheild on. I disappointed 4 rangers that day.

OT: I'v never had such things. Maybe besides the fact someone died at the then new enakrhas lahement (sp?) quest in full guthan and I was the only person around! :mrgreen: (I was a really [puncture] back then I didn't even think of giving it back. But it has been the base of almost everything I bought after that.)

when i was a level 20 something ranger (range was 30) i was at the demon slayer summoning area. i logged out and when i logged in again i heard strike spells, then had to panickingly click the area that put you ingame. this was before they updated that post-login screen...anyway when i got ingame i had to run quickly to varrock...2 health left, almost lost 2k and full studded, which was a lot back then, at least to me.

I was triple teaming KQ in full veracs, with two friends, I got hit for a 29, then lagged and got logged. I logged back in to find myself with 5 hp AND a d2h on the ground; that was a close one... :mrgreen:

Fighting the tzhaar guys. I was at 30 health and didn't think I needed to eat because I barely ever got hit by them. So I went browsing the forums. When I looked back I had 1 hp left. I had my whip, which I worked forever for, on and don't know what I would've done if I died.

I had 13 hp left and I ran past this monster, and it hit me with a 12 =P~

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So close to dying then

Well I was fighting aberrant specters and after a couple of close hits, I got down to 10 hp. With no prayer left, I hit my cammy teleport button, only to get an evil chicken random event. First hit hit me for 9, and I managed to get the second teleport out just in time! Got to camelot with 1hp left, my closest call I reckon!

Reading forums while wearing full sara (3.5m at the time) while fighting lessers, come back seeing I have no lobsters left, run, get hit for 4 and see the red bar. Made it out with 1 hitpoint.

i was team dking with my friends and suddenly EVERYONE got connection lost

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

we all had luck and survived :P
