next runescape skill?

Featured Replies

Id rather not have new skills, more better updates and map area, or more time invested in removing autoers. Something that could improve something in the game would be better than a new skill, like a new bank interface.

It usually takes about 6 months between 2 new skills. I guess the next one is Summoning. I've heard so many rumours about it. Personally I'd love new updates for hunter, more animals and stuff. :)

summoning would prob be another mage book

Why would they add a new skill when Construction and Hunter have hardly even been updated?

Why did they add hunter when con had barley been updated?

Why did they add hunter at all?

How about a shooting skill where they transform Runescape into a 1930's mafia place wow that would be awesome!!!

But seriously, i don't believe there will be a new skill this year, there were alreay 2 last year so don't you think you have had enough.

Well, this doesn't really answer your question but I would rather see them improve current ingame content than see them release another skill.

They will release a new skill... around the end of summer I think. Jagex is putting more things in the game so there would be more varaity. Take hunter for example alot of ppl liked it and alot diden't. Since it wasen't a core skill if you diden't work on it, it woulden't really make it harder to work on other skills. The people who liked hunter could work on it and get new outfits and more total levels.

If jagex keeps adding more skills they will gain more players because some people might really like to do herblore and decide it's not worth for membership then farming comes out and they start loving it too so they get membership. The point is if new skills come out you might not like them so it woulden't effect you much.. then you can play as usaul. But other people will really like the skill and play runescape more.

Jagex makes money.. but doesan't lose any.

People would actually have to think/learn in order to level up this skill unless they're really rich.

The economy would also become way better (rares won't stop growing fast once they hit 500mil, raws and runes would fall (autoers would sell raws at very low prices, upper class will get richer, lower class won't be able to make money out of raws and would want runes, upper class won't sell runes cheap, autoers will craft runes and then sell them to lower class, it would take someone who just started a very long time to get into the upper class...).

Losers...

Are you blind or ignoring me on purpose?

Even though I sometimes side with religious people in some debates, I no longer consider myself religious.

IMO construction doesn't need an update anytime soon its a complete skill there are things to make from 1-99.. Its a skill i am not too fond of but i don't think it need an update anytime soon.. Correct me if am i wrong but Construction and smithing are the only 2 skills where you need 99 to build/make everything (yes i know about stouts, teas, and crystal saw)

summoning would be fun...maybe part of the homoculous (sp) quest line

I kinda hope they don't add more skills. It's kinda like quests, how many quests have you done that made you think, "This is such crap, I wish they would take their time and made this quest decent before releasing it, instead of releasing a piece of crap just to keep everyone happy."?

Just look at hunter. Fun skill to level, but no decent end game rewards. Sure, the capes that take away some weight are nice, and those throwing animals that explode are good range exp, but why should you level hunter to 99? What's the point?

Personally, I wish they would finish the OTHER SKILLS before adding a new one. Add some level 90+ rocks to mine, some level 90+ monsters to slay, finish the runecrafting skill, ect ect ect.

Im 99 hunt for the glory of first page highscores and so when they bring up htun nmonster at 95 or so ill be one of the first to make my millions from it.

Yeah...Some people just go out of their way to ruin other peoples fun.
Sounds like Jagex to me...

I'm going with everyone else, they should finish some other skills (HUNTER, slayer, maybe a higher level normal magic spell...)

Or finishing quest lines/the world map

While its nice to have a new skill come out, there are still plenty of things that could be added to other skills. Hunter has some fantastic advantages for those who train it, such as the red chinchompas, but there aren't any high level rewards for those who have gone past 71.

Jagex should concentrate on more skill rewards for those who reach the higher levels, to give more incentive to train those skills.

the only skill they might release is summoning as beside player owned houses, summoning is the most anticipated skill. another possible skill is animal riding. however, I have no idea how they would inplament it.

It'll be jodling 8-) just wait!

I think it's gonna be cropping.

No seriously i think noobies will get their way and it's going to be husbandry or per carressing.

I'd like to see something such as necromancy though.

summoning will be a magic addition i remember hearing them say, and they've been hinting at it more than ever recently, like the life rune thing and past updates. Anyway, i like limb growing...ability to grow a third eye that you can't see and have 90 arms!

heh..

lawn mowing, its a skill that add's to poh's

Alchemy, make exploding potions and try to turn matter to gold by various means.

herblore and magic?

i think typing with ur head should be a new skitr45 b ilwbf cHKGBIK CHJUKL,uhnvsebvyjkqhgfvj ,MB ILJKB .lkbubvhljkvnKIQB ( i really did type that by rolling my head over keyboard)

Well first, I think they should polish hunter.

I have no idea wut the new skill would be, we really were give no clues. Summoning maybe, but that sounds awfully boring.
