April Fools day memories

Have any good April Fools day memories? Like any pranks you pulled or anyone you tricked really bad?

I for one went around my neighborhood, telling my dad I was playing "manhunt" and doing stuff I wasn't supposed to and when I came back I said April Fools.

So any April Fools experiences you want to share,

Well, my parents pulled a good prank on me on my birthday a few years ago.

They told me I was getting a PSP, so I was eager. When I opened up my present, it was only accessories. So I told my mom, "You paid like $200 for this?"

Then at the end of the day they hand me a PSP. :| They laughed and walked away.

On Christmas 08' my mom gave me a tiny little wrapped box. I open it up and it's an old 80's cassette tape. Rick Astley on the cover, it was "Never gonna give you up". She wrote on the cover: "You got RickRoll'D".

Spent the next 10 minutes looking for a machine that could play a cassette tape lol.

My mom isn't as hip as your mom.

The only thing I've ever done on April Fools Day is make the whole class hide behind their desks and chairs and pretend that no one was in class before the teacher walked in.

Our principal decided it would be fun to schedule an institute day on the 4th, and then not tell anyone. Everyone went to their classrooms, but no teachers were there. He came on over the intercom, and just said "Go home".

It was awsome, but a bit annoying that we had to come to school.

I was about to get my flamethrower out then. :lol:

Erm... the only April fool's prank I remember was at my school when I was about 10, our teacher told us that we'd have to come into school over the holidays to do extra studying for our SAT's. I think we all collectively [cabbage] ourselves... at least I did.

Nah it was for April fools, I think they were telling us we'd have to come in at the next term/half term break.

I'm going to take my more-liked teachers' possessions and leave ransom notes.

My hair is already over my eyes most of the time, but other than that sounds good ;)

One time i duct taped my mom's door shut. She couldn't figure out how to get out.

And, I was at school. I got grounded for a coupe weeks.

I remember a few ;) Keep in mind my hometown is pretty much Prankopolis.

 

 

 

- One time we set up that stupid "set clocks back close blinds pretend school is starting at 10:00 at night" prank on my sister. Later that day, she figured we hadn't done anything else, until she opened the door to her bathroom and found that had filled it floor to ceiling with crumpled newspaper.

 

 

 

- Changed the autocorrect on every library computer (35?) to say You've been pranked! or April Fools! instead of common phrases like at, in, by, or, and, etc.

 

 

 

- Covered a whole chalkboard with chewing gum.

Those all seem like they would take a long time, and a lot of effort.

My parents used un-blowble candles on my birthday cake. :cry:

I know it may seem offensive/not funny to you guys, but I really love coming to school the day of April Fools saying one of my parents was diagnosed with cancer, or my dog died or something along the lines, and I lie good. I make myself lul.

My mom got tricked into thinking her best friend won the lottery. And told all of our family. Then her bestfriend was like, april fools and my mom was like. DDD:

should be a good experiment to see after this thread goes for a few pages if people read the first post or not. "Yeh Allah is real." etc.

I try to do April Fool's pranks but always forget, and lately April 1 has been on weekend so can't really do anything with school then.

first period math, our announcments go on a tv channel somehow in the morning. our school has money so they can do it.

teacher doesn't have remote and this kid brought his own universal one. on his way to math he turned on every tv in the classroom. some of them had the volume all the way up and at 7 in the morning with no one in the classroom and you're barely awake it tends to piss off a few teachers. once he got too math the teacher turned the tv on and then it quickly turned off. she went back to it with a very puzzled look turned it back on. she turned her back and said WHY WON'T YOU TURN ON!?! it then turned on and she got really really confused. she said to the tv to turn off and lone and behold it turned off. then she said on, off, mute, and some other stuff. the kid eventually revealed the remote though :XD:

entire class was laughing a bit at that stunt. i have to try that though.
