Deep in your inner self, you can feel them. The souls of the lost... Some say you even possess a magical artifact that allows you to see them. You see them walk, to the North. An old adversary enlists the aide of the souls. They say that you have found a way to walk and talk with the Lost. It will be of use in these dark times. As you go about your business, you never know what the magic will show you. You have seen the Enemy's General, you have seen his followers. You have witnessed his birthing grounds, you have awakened his Children. You have taken Their Blade. In the Darkness of Woe, you have met Them. The Children fear you not, that is your advantage. But They are powerful. You have seen Them flee from one another. Fleeing...to the North. My brave adventurer, the Planets are soon to align. The Armies are gathering in the North. The land of half light and ice. The last time the Dark Ritual was performed, Elves ruled all of the land. Now see what remains of that great civilization! And the quote was written by me, of course! I can almost guarantee that the Dark Update will be the Second God War judging by dialogs in certain quests and minigames. The only explanation will be it saying "It's finaly here!" Then you click inside, and It says "Cabbages! You can finaly summon cabages!!" Epic points to whoever takes him out with help from Lunar Magic, considering that is Armadyl's magic. And Armadyl is of course the Goddess of Good, countering Zaros being the God of Evil. Just like Saradomin is the God of Order and Zamorak the God of Chaos. Ooh, maybe even use the Staff of Armadyl. If it is, I'd be honored to use Lunar... but atm it's really useless aside from farming. Let's throw plant pots and weeds at each other to deal 120309 damage... ;) Only effective way of doing damage with Lunar is Vengeance, which is annoying to use. And that's a level 90+ skill. Mage is either gonna get really popular, or it's not going to be done with Lunar.. the enemy's general might possibly be iban seing as you might follow the quest path of helping zaros. When I was getting my Shadow Sword, one of the scouts said something about him getting to slaughter again, or something about bloodshed. Hopefully this will turn into some huge war sort of thing, I really hope that we can get the sweet armor the scouts are wearing, or the cape of General Khazard. It would be even more amazing if we got to choose sides in some sort of a new update, and have completely different experiences if you choose to join the possible war, i.e. mage, ranger, meleer.
