Any cases of Extreme Luck?

Has anybody here has a case where they get extremely lucky at something? Have you ever been the lucky person in a group? I'm usually not lucky, but I got to feel that great feeling of having extremely good luck today at barrows.

It was my second trip ever, and my first serious one. I had gone with sworddude198(I'll call him sword for the rest) previously on my first run ever. Barrows was interesting and fun, but a lot of hard work. On my goal of getting a santa, I decided that I would need a good money maker that isn't boring, so I said to myself "Hey, what about barrows, thats decent cash and tons of fun" So I scraped together some prayer potions and runes, made teletabs, built a portal room, and did everything else I needed to get ready for barrows. I asked sword if he wanted to go to barrows today, and he wanted to. So after I got everything, made, went to canfis, and met him, he checked my inventory. Everything was good, so we went on. Now the fun started.

I go down, kill dharok no problem, +73 mage bonus and slayer dart. Same with karil. I drink 2 sips of my prayer potion, put on my red d hide and magic shortbow and head down to ahrims crypt. Sword has ahrim as his tunnel, so I was on my own. I pray, open, and realize something! I forgot my rune arrows! Some kind gentleman at the top gave me 30, so i thanked him and proceeded back down. I pray, special, and run out of rpayer eventually. I didn't take too much damage, and killed Ahrim with only eating 4 monkfish. Next I go to verac, and discover he is my tunnel. I am a little mad that its not guthan or torag, but better than the other 3 brothers. So I went on to torag. I maged him with my rune on, easy kill no prayer. Next, I went to guthan, and bam! 26 on me right away. a little shocked, I carired on, using a few monkfish, but in the end killing him. I went back to verac, Sword went to ahrim, and we went to our tunnels. I got a few kills, then got verac. I used ppots even though my prayer drained so fast it did nothing, and after a hard battle, finished him off with no prayer left and only 3 monkfish. I walked around and found my door. It took 10 tries to get puzzle right because of the bloodworms! After that, I got it. I got my kc to 17, and opened chest. i got some runes to make up for the darts, bloods, olt racks, gp, and a flail! On my second run ever! Sword was so jealous of me lol.

Have you ever had any cases of extreme luck like this? Homefully you have, but if not, keep trying, one day you'll have it. Feel free to post comments or stories of your own.

Got 2 spears in 5 runs at barrows. :)

Also, find a death pile of Guthan spear, guthan helmet, whip, and zerker ring. Couldn't find the person who lost though. So unfortunately, I had to keep it. :XD:

On my main account for the 2nd and 6th trip at barrows, I received a Guthan Platebody and a Verac Plateskirt, So that was a nice little surprise for my first few trips at barrows.

I can't recall any other times that I've really been that lucky.

I used to have bad luck until 2 weeks ago. Friend quit giving me santa + green mask. Then, like 3 days ago, on Ape Atoll, I happened to be running by and saw a pile of stuff. Not much, but 110k (exactly), red d-hide legs, 300 mith arrows, 3 diamonds, 3 empty vials, teles to varrock, and bones. I only happened to be walking by, so I never saw guy die or anything. But this is pretty good since I am the one who usually dies... and ends up loosing 13m Also, I have never seen someone die and get to pick up their st00f.

two d axes within 5 kills at dks and me and a buddy of mine got a d chain drop on his first ever kq trip.

There was a auto seller in w1 varrock i offered my blue mask to him as a joke for his red and he accepted :thumbsup: best day of my life

i think at 2nd darhoks plate and at 7th verac helm then at like 20th guthan helm then at like 24th or 23rd ahrim top

Well, I've already posted this in the macroer sticky, but i'm gonna post here too:

I was making bowstrings, when i saw a guy say that he was gonna set up his autoer. (seriously, he was THAT stupid...) I payed no attention, and went to get 500 bs to sell. When i came back, he was being attacked by a swarm, but wasn't watching that character, and the swarm kept him from-auto-logging out. When he got to 1/3 hp, i went and stood on him...waiting and waiting... he finally died and i got....

....his 840k and 7k bs! :XD: \ I didn't think to get any screenys, i was too busy jumping and shouting, Can you say " phr33 70r4gs pl0x?"

Good Luck-When I was a newb I was walking in the wild when I saw a clan fight and I was too low of a level for any of them to attack me. So I got about 3 sets full rune before leaving.

Bad Luck- I then got pked on my way out of the wild so I only got to keep 3 rune plates. I was still happy though.

Fighting my mirhril armour in warrior guild, guy next to me in veracs gets hit high for 5 hits in a row (fighting adamant armour) doesnt eat=1 ring of wealth, 1 glory ammy, veracs helm (:)), rune boots, obby cape and some food. I'd say that was lucky for me (obviously not for them), didn't get his name, something really stupid like jlxbveh617nm3n981 so not really my fault. Apart from that i have terrible luck, but i guess thats lucky enough to make up for 6 months of bad luck (this also happens to me in real life).

My friend got a Third Age Plate on the second day. They were half as much too :-w

He traded it for 8 robins, now hes mad again because robins are going up :-w

I got 2 mimes in 2 alches yesterday....Now i have full and all emotes

Found a R2H on the ground in RSC about 3.5 years ago while mining in Rimmington with four other people trying to grab it :D I had to train a lot (because I was a low level :oops:) to use it, but it raised my max it by 3 :)

I am never EVER lucky. One time, I found a guy who died and dropped a rune kite. I did 77 barrows trips, got a hood and t helm, and then died, losing most of my profit. I make all of my money through runecrafting and anything not based on luck.

Best luck I had was on treasure trail.. I'd rarely got anything decent (like most people) then on one particularly long trail the reward I got was a robin *and* a black cav... also got some noted sharks, a rune plate and something else which I forget :wink:

I got a guthan skirt on my 3rd run and i got a torag top on my 6th. :P

Then i got killed by verac after they changed it so he hit through prayer.

And i never went back again, cause my membership expired.

But if i get my membership back in summer im going to do it all the time \

I got a robin on my first ever level 3 treasure trail. I kept it for a while 'cause range is hawt, but then I was desperate for cash so I sold it. Then they went up about 1 mill. :evil:

once at seers bank some guy got killed by a rick turpentine and i got a dds, obby cape, and wealth

not to shabby for just happening to stand there

I got a guthan warspear at barrows on Christmas day, the next day I got the skirt and plate. I went to steel drags later that day and got d skirt. I was hoping for the g helm from barrows, so I could finish my 65 slayer goal, but I ended up buying it instead lol. #-o
