Mistake in Castle Wars guide
OK. We went to have a game, and indeed we both used all four types of butterflies on each other. It appears all but Snowy butterflies can be used to highten the mel̮̩̉̉e stats beyond their normal levels. For example, my Strength level went up to Level 90. HP is healed, but not extended beyond its normal level. Anyways, the point is they can be used on teammates in CW, and needless to say, they can be brought into the arena. Also, you asked for those pictures. I got all six CW-exclusive items, plus I got a new picture of the Zamorak banner. The old one looked a bit... weird. All are in .gif Hope that helps you ma'am. :P

Mini Games: Castle Wars
Weird looking back at your own submissions as a Crewbie... The stairs bit really isn't worth mentioning. The cades however definitely is, despite it being so vain someone might see it... -.- Mc90123 has also started his own topic in the Website U&C board about more out-dated areas of the guide.

Girls: The Mystery of Man
I know what you mean. I went with some girls when they went to buy these expensive dresses for a prom thing they were going to. If I didn't comment on how they looked, I wasn't interested and I was a lousy person to go shopping with, but if I did comment on how they looked, I must fancy them... Help meeee! :anxious:

Player mods, do they even help?
That is an incredibly naÃÆÃâÃâïve opinion. What about people like me who have blackmarks not through malicious play, but through saying the wrong thing at the wrong time, and getting reported by people who frankly know no better? Now, I'm not saying I'd make a good mod. In fact, I'd dare say the opposite. However, there are people that would be good P Mods that have gone through similar miscarriages by Jagex. Your way would completely wipe those people off Jagex's list. Added to that, you haven't offered a chance there for people to reform. Never judge a book by its cover.

Tip.It Times Presents: Buying and Selling
Aww. I was hoping it would be more than just that. The fact it has its very own button in the interface makes it seem... important and one of those "Ooo what does this button do? *press*" things lol. :(

Tip.It Times Presents: Buying and Selling
I still have no idea to this day what the "Accept Aid" tool is for, apart from lunars, teleothers, butterflies and bandages in CW. Only one of which existed towards the beginning of the game, so... what is it actually for?

Tip.It Times Presents: Buying and Selling
Well, maybe I'm speaking a bit out of line here, but we've given the community an opportunity to voice their opinions about site features (the two polls about the maps a couple of weeks ago), and the response we received was, to be personally honest, disappointing in terms of how much apathy we received. So I doubt this is anything to do with directing people to this board, even though we really could use with more input. We're Crewbies, but we're only human, and we can't read your minds! Also, Kiara, I agree. I'm wondering where this Editor is too. I've not heard anything about him/her for three months or so now... :(

Britain Terror Suspect Dies From Burns
No... the Qu'ran states that anyone who doesn't believe in Allah will go straight to hell when they die. Then again, Qu'ran also states that anyone who commits suicide, even in an act of so-called 'Jihad', is also throwing themselves into the gates of hell. The Qu'ran most definitely does not teach that killing anyone who doesn't believe in Allah is acceptable.

Lol, which unfortunetely is not very often at all! And yeah they really don't stand much of a chance. OT's just a place for a load of silly neebs who really don't know a lot anyway. :P Yeah I'd love to go Barrows or CW sometime. You got a blog? I'll hit you with a PM sometime when we're both online and I'm not doing anything. ORRR... baron could light the fire for both of us. Unless Simon's already doing yours... Yep. Definitely. Telling me to wait for four hours yesterday while he plays catch up just 'coz he can't get off his [wagon] early enough in the morning! :P

Gordon Brown...
It probably does yes. God forbid I look like a tool on the internet  As Bubsa said, your contradiction and hypocracy speaks for itself. I note you're new to these forums. Allow me to be the first to tell you this is a place for intelligent discussion, not mindless flaming of others for fairly insignificant mistakes. Tip.It prides itself in that statement. Now, can we move this discussion back on-topic please? I personally like the way he invited that air luggage carrier who tackled the terrorist at Glasgow Airport. I dunno if a similar meeting took place at the Scottish Parliament, but if there was such a meeting, it's noticable that was given some media attention whilst the other wasn't. It was nice to see the British Government in Downing Street actually reaching out to Scotland, something which really hasn't been noticable in recent months with all this talk of independance.

Britain Terror Suspect Dies From Burns
I think some people would know Muslim extremists don't share the views of mainstream Islam yet many people still wrongly think or have misgivings about Islam and Muslim people in light of terrorism in the name of the religion. The idea that Muslim groups denounce such acts is great, but I haven't seen any such denouncements myself for any acts of terrorism (from my best memory at the moment). It's either the fault of those in high places in the Muslim community or the media. The point I'm getting at here is that if I were the head of said religion or the proceedings of said religion in my country, I'd make every effort to make every noise I could to the media. Every incling of misrepresentation of the religion, I'd come down on those misrepresenting it like a ton of bricks. That much, I'll agree with you. They're not doing nearly enough. Having said that, we don't actually know what's being taught in mosques to young Islamic children. For all we know, the Muslim Council has forced young Muslims to be told that taking any life is wrong, since only Allah has the right to do so, which is actually what is written in the Qu'ran. The newspapers have a funny way of missing out such details, in particular tabloids, in order to whip up a nice storm they can make millions out of. More public denouncements are needed though. But to imply the Muslim Council is doing absolutely nothing to act against these attacks is an opinion that doesn't have much research behind it. Can I remind you of the situation in N. Ireland that thankfully is coming to a reletively peaceful close after several centuries of political and religious tension? Slaughtering people from another religion is bad, but surely slaughtering people in your own is worse? What about all those devouts Christians in the BNP which stokepile explosives in their houses because they're scared of the "flood of immigrants"? The KKK in America? I could roll out a list of examples so don't play the "Christianity is compeltely innocent" card either. Like what? Both are expressions of patronage to one entity. I really see no difference. Surely the crime is that he tried to kill people, not that he happened to shout "Allah" whilst doing so?

Tip.It Times Presents: Buying and Selling
A very good read. I was blessed thankfully with the fact a friend introduced me to this game, so him and his sister would tell me how to sell, and play the game etc. so the experience was more exciting than it was daunting. I can imagine that for new players, the experience can be quite the opposite though, and sadly, the RS community in general doesn't particularly warm to people asking perfectly innocent questions. This article kinda makes me feel sorry for 'em. :( A good article though. =D>

This is what im talking about... You can lock this now.
Log > Fletch > String. No exp really in stringing anymore so you kinda need that carve side to it. 13M's not something to laugh at though. I'd just make the rest up in Barrows or something anyway.

Britain Terror Suspect Dies From Burns
Terrorist dying = loss of critical information which could prevent thousands of deaths. As it is, he was never in a position and likely would never be in a position to ever commit a terrorist attack again!

Britain Terror Suspect Dies From Burns
I'm actually really baffled how you can say that when an announcement was issued by the Muslim Council in complete deploration of the attacks, saying that anyone who did partake in this false 'Jihad' ceased to become a Muslim in doing so. That kind of attitude really deserves in the BNP if I'm completely honest. The fact is a doctor has an obligation to treat everyone, regardless of how they are or what they have done to get into that circumstance. How are any of you wishing he'd died any better than him in the first place? It actually sickens me that some of you wanted another person to die. Death in tragic in all circumstances. I'm 100% behind Smokie's attitude on this...

And the fact the only thing you could pick out his argument was a typo doesn't make you look like a tool? :-k

Removing the MSN address option.
Unfortunetely, while I understand your point tallest and I respect it, I really don't feel that's enough. I very wisely put a disclaimer in my signature, but you wouldn't believe the amount of times I have to tell people my views aren't representative of the Tip.It staff. The fact is people tend to miss out the smallprint these days, especially on the Internet. So I'm really with bobbington on this one, and his services to Jagex as a forum mod should perhaps be given more respect than a normal Tip.It user who has no experience of moderating a forums. Like I said, I'm not preventing people from giving out MSN or other IM addresses through a private channel in MIRC or through PM if they gain a friendship here at Tip.It. I'd be happy if this could be a place where that sort of socialising could take place. But I really get the feeling there needs to be more safeguards. As bobbington says, the Internet is becoming an increasingly dangerous place and what's worse is that people don't even fully realise it - myself included admitedly as I found out when I joined up to the Crew, as I'm sure all you admins heard about. Tip.It, just like all sites, has to move constantly to protect its users, and I think this would be a move in the positive direction. That's just my opinion anyway.

Removing the MSN address option.
DISCLAIMER: Any views I express are my own, not Tip.It's! This issue always puzzled me. The rules of Tip.It claim that they uphold all Jagex rules on this forums, yet we allow people to give out personal information such as E-mail addresses and IM names. And you're quite right, it does place some of our younger, more naÃÆÃâÃâïve users at risk, not just with the security of accounts, but sadly as proven with the case with the Potsdam boy posted on the General Forum a few weeks ago, in real life as well. I personally would feel very uncomfortable if Tip.It, even inadvertently, was facilitating that kind of behaviour. However, you're right. We need to strike a balance here, and I personally feel that giving addreses out in PM is a lot more appropriate, and above all else, it works against potential poachers since they won't have prior knowledge that they have an IM account. I support this. In private, giving out information is acceptable since it's in a more trusting and relaxed safe environment, but personal information (all IM services, not just MSNm) should be withdrawn in light of recent events, even if that event was somewhat extreme. TBH, I don't see why the PM system, Tip.It MIRC #runescape and the forums can't suffice people's needs...

Player mods, do they even help?
The thing is, the Moddy reports seem to be handled seperately. Because moderators are picked partially on how good and relevant their reporting is, the whole setup amounts to good reports getting dealt with faster. Oh, and don't ever bug/nag a player mod to do something: "I got hacked. Hlp plz" "I can't. I don't have any power to. I'm just a player" "Your a bad mod" "Mod. Go report [person]. He's [breaking rules]" "How you become mod?" 100x a day "Mods aren't allowed to say noob" "Mods should be nice." Geez. It's not like mods are robots. Oh, and these are all pulled from what I've seen people saying. Well if that the only reason Jagex require Player Mods, then why do they feel a need to give them a special distinction, which inadvertently creates a hierachy by its very nature? And mods should be nice. They're ambassadors for the game. How I act on the forum has nothing to do with how I perform with my tasks as a Crewbie, but if I started flaming everyone and spamming, I can't see me staying in that position for much longer...

Small correction to the kings ranson quest guide
I can confirm it also. In fact, I recall saying it at the time... :-w
