  1. I did it at level 62 with the help of the evil stew from the evil dave miniquest from recipe for disaster =D Same here! I also did DM yesterday at level 62 smithing!
  2. Or, if you're really daring, you can try to PK one.
  3. If I were a master slayer, I'd sell you one for cheap, but I'm only level 61 slayer. :( Anyways, a good money making method is dragon bones. Kill greens or blues - I think d-bones go for 3k each.
  4. I often go around of the Wicked Lasers forum, and they seem pretty cool. If you do buy one, just be VERY CAREFUL - lasers are NOT toys.
  5. Most ban evaders don't try to change their IPs, so sock puppet accounts can be detected quite easily by admins.
  6. Protect from magic works against shamans? :o
  7. I was there the other day and someone told me to kill the ogre. I think that he was doing it in bad faith.
  8. One of the major criticisms of RS is that skills are often tedious - players do the same thing over and over again. However, people don't seem to get too bored of combat. I guess that it's thrilling that there's always the chance of getting a rare drop. Since most people won't mind getting a rare item or two, why don't we make more skills have the chance of giving rare items and letting players earn money? Here's some of my ideas: Thieving: Some items could only be obtained from thieving, such as: Helm of Alertness: From guards (1/15000 chance) - same stats as rune medium helmet, but protects player from things that temporarily lower defense Holy symbol of Saradomin (m) (1/20000 chance) - holy symbols made of mithril, these can only be obtained from thieving knights. Gives +3 prayer more than regular symbols. Holy symbol of Saradomin (g) (1/20000 chance) - from paladins, gives +6 more prayer than regular symbols. Enchanted crystal sphere - allows player to enchant their seeds into crystal bows and shields. One use only. The spell should be called "enchant crystal" and require level 90 magic, along with 500 cosmic runes. Woodcutting - Players would be able to get an extremely rare piece of uncut amber. It requires level 70 to cut, and level 85 to craft into an amber periapt (requires string). It protects the player from disease and poiso. Prayer - when players dig holes to bury bones, they have the chance to discover treasure (from coins and gems to armor). The better the bone (hence bigger hole), the higher the chances of getting treasure (with better treasure). Also, the further into the Wild the player is, the better odds there are. Construction - when building things, players may discover the posessions of the past owners. Herblore - like brewing, players could randomly make "mature" potions with more potency. Sorry, I couldn't come up with reasonable stuff for other skills.
  9. I've been told that Jagex has removed the safe spot for fighting Damis. However, I saw this video on YouTube that was uploaded recently: http://youtube.com/watch?v=dH2zuC6qlCc Has anyone else tried this safe spot before?
  10. Is it possible to get into the area with the blue dragons after I do the Watch Tower quest? People say it's possible but every cave I try, even with the skavid map and a light source, leads to the skavid caves and not to the enclave. It's been over 3 years since I did that quest.

  12. Jagex shoould make it so that we can enchant whips and make them do special damage against certain types on monsters, a la Castlevania. :)
  13. I wonder what effect this change will have on education. 1. Will kids lose points on exams if they answer that Pluto is a planet? 2. What are the costs of remodeling those science museums? 3. Or of rewriting millions of books? 4. Also, will vintage solar system model kits become collectible, and maybe, rare?
  14. Come to think of it, maybe I got it from the level 3 treasure trail I just did. I don't remember seeing a rune pick, but then again, I was probably too exciting after seeing that I got a rune kite (t). I also had a bunch of junk with me, so I probably wasn't paying attention. After all, RS is much secure than it used to be, and we haven't had a duping bug since RS2 came out (before that, there was a duping bug every 9 months on the average).
  15. This is very strange. I've always had one rune pick. However, today, I was going to mine some limestone for construction and found that I have 2 rune picks in my bank! I don't recall buying one or receiving one as a part of a trade. I don't think I was fighting any monster that drops them - I don't even think that any monsters drop rune picks. Anyone ever have a similar experience?
  16. With the exception of low level items (ie: a few runes), I never give free stuff - it ruins the work ethics. Sometimes, I do make exceptions to my rule if the person was hacked or scammed, etc.
  17. There's a difference between whining about no free versin updates and posting suggestions for f2p.
  18. So far, the frog token has only two uses: a frog mask or a body outfit. But many people, myself included, often get these toeks and have no use for them. But I never throw them away, just in case jagex comes up with other uses for them. So here are some of my ideas: Jagex should add "frog agents" to swampy areas - south of Lumbridge, Morytania (members), and the area with worms in the gnome stronghold (members). These agents will teleport the player to the frog kingdom. The player must have at least one token, but this will not cost tokens. This should be another way to unlock the Frogland song. The only way at the moment is to ignore the Frog random, and we shouldn't really encourage players to ignore random events. Anyways, in the frog kingdom, players can use tokens for certain benefits: Special items: Ring of the Anura (costs 2 tokens): non-tradable, the ring shows the player as a friend of the frogs. If the player completes the frog random while wearing it, they will get a random gift along with the token. Seal of the Anura (costs 10 tokens): non-tradable, the player is more likely to get rare items as the auxiliary gift. Also, players should be able to transform into frogs by rubbing it, and transform back by rubbing it again. Players will not get the frog random will in frog mode, as frogs need a human kiss to become human, but players in frog mode won;t be able to do certain things, such as mining, etc. Members: Players in frog mode will have an advantage in agility. For obstacles involving jumping, they will be less likely to fail. Magical grub: Players can trade a frog token for a magical grub. When eaten, players will get a slight stat boost, heal some health, and be able to choose a skill to raise exp (similar to the genie lamp, but gives twice as much exp to make up for the rarity of the frog token).
  19. I've thought of similar items before. There should be trash cans in RuneScape where you can throw away useless items like burnt meat, bones, etc.
  20. Do zogres drop the "special" bones only if you kill them the "proper" way? (with brutal arrows) Or will they drop the special bones even if you kill them with the "unorthodox" ways? Thanks.
  21. Here's the Badger Badger Badger Wikipedia article (with links): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Badger_Badger_Badger
  22. I think that RS would be more suitable for an animated series series rather than a movie.
