I can confirm that there is indeed a large difference in memory usage. On my computer, I run a distributed computing client program in the background called Prime95, which is used to testing very large Mersenne numbers (2^p-1, where p is prime) for primality. (mersenne.org) Usually, whenever I am playing RS, the program slows down a lot, and when I try to bring up its window, it half-freezes. With this new update, the program no longer freezes! Yay! :)

Yep, I just got my 100th strange box. Here's a log, although it probably contains errors. For one, I might not have paid attention to the exact amount of coins I got, etc. However, I'm pretty sure that this is still fairly accurate. Items marked with "(m)" means that I got that item when I was on a members' server.

Really? I've burned about 15k Chaos runes there and havn't even goten one drop with my ROW. Also, I've goten 4k kills at the FG's with a ROW and no luck. I've officially abandoned that cursed object, may it burn forever within the deepest pits of Mordor. LOL! :lol:

Disregarding prayer, it's actually easier without armor. Armor has a negative magic defense and will make you take more damage from magical attacks.

That trailer was awesome! Horses in RS, more dramatic combat, and all the RS Classic goodness! :) What's I'd really like to see in a movie would be a fight scene with two characters duking it out in the Wilderness or the dueling arena, but with wuxia-style fights.

Something similar like this happened on GameFAQs once. Users would sometimes be logged in as CJayC, the main site admin.

Although I'm not a member anymore, I have mixed feelings about this update. The positive: I no longer have to worry about being attacked by the aberrant spectors when luring bloodvelds. The negative: The safespot no longer works. (Maybe Jagex should introduce some kind of "soul arrow" that passess through walls")

There are indeed legit sites, like QuickRewards. I got myself two months of membership this way. If you want to prevent spam, use an email account you don't care about.

If I'm correct, W13 of Zybez made some movies for RS before. Also, do a search for "Runescape" on Newgrounds. Most movies stink, but you can find a few good ones.

I know that you will still appear online for people ignore on RS Classic, though.

In AIM, if you block someone, you will appear offline to them even if you are really online. In RuneScape, even if you put someone on ignore, you will still appear online, but you won't receive their messages. But now, some people are saying that the ignore list works like AIM now (if you put them on ignore, you'll appear offline). Is this true? I don't want to break the no multi-logging rule just to find out.

I didn't go to mine (I'm class of 2004, for those wondering). Just wasn't my type of thing. Also, my school's administration that year, in their infinite wisdom, decided to ban limos. Iconoclastic idiots. Sell it to some runecrafter instead?

Also, normal essence prices may not drop too much if enough sellers collude to sell at the normal price. But then again, some people give up early and will lower their prices. If I ever need normal essence, I will still buy at the regular price.

You guys have a point. The thing is, I wrote this around 4 years ago or so, so I obviously wasn't as good as writing essays as I am now.
