  1. Ape atoll is more enjoyable in the guild world for it, and I did that instead of doresh. 8-)
  2. But dragonlord! This is the year they update the game! :D! =D>
  3. Rofl this must be a joke. I would have put that many periods in between that phrase too if you're serious. Why are you taking this type of advice from tiffers? I mean don't you have an opinion? Do you like helping people or don't you? It's as simple as answering that question.
  4. I love your opening statement :P Giant text is worse than boring. My last clue reward was saradomin plate legs. :? Err, don't you see how illogical that is? You didn't lose 250k you spent 250k to get the holy book. Losing would be like buying the pages then dropping them.
  5. Not to advocate pervertedness, but: [hide=] What?[/hide] I just don't get why they took a year to change it, now it's more or less way under the rug.
  6. thanks guy
  7. What should I put my resources towards to gain max. profit? Thanks.
  8. You could tell from his first post that he had done it. Proof lovers be damned. :P Good job, I think I heard about someone else doing it, but I don't have any proof, damn.
  9. Made me laugh more than muggi's. :P Mine's 15.5 in.
  10. I wonder if Jagex planned this peice of news for this week only because they knew they weren't going to have anything else. :o
  11. 38M, making monks rise. 60M-ish in items
  12. As would banning prostitution, yet people seem to be all for banning that. Keep in mind that in either case nothing would really change. The people in charge of these gold farming operations were never very fine and upstanding businessmen to begin with. The only difference is that now the occasionally person will get caught, however this law is not going to accomplish much. Prostitution is already illegal. Or is that a State law? Well it's illegal in my state. This new law in China won't really change anything because the people who enforce the laws are corrupt beyond all comprehension. Now your assuming things, bad bad bad. The reason this won't affect anything is because the chinese probably won't spend tons of resources trying to find these people. I could care less, I don't play WoW. Oh, I don't care if people lose their jobs btw. I really don't.
  13. Are you sure you can wear it? I think I did that quest and you couldn't wear the amulet. :o
  14. Hmm, this reminds me of Dan's earlier topic. Maybe that prompted you to write this one. I don't find anyone anymore disrespectful than when I started playing from my experience. When I first saw your topic, I thought you would talk about how all 99's in general are losing respect-value, but even that is a sweeping generalization because two people wanted the agility emote yesterday. I think when we make these topics we take a few recent bad experiences and remember other bad experiences from a long time ago, and those are our only references. But eh, I don't know you very well Olly. Spread the love <3

Spoolsv[Caution: Executable File] is using 99 percent of my CPU. How do I fix it?
  16. I think the reason why no one is accepting of gert is because no one was waiting for him to do anything. Zezima got 1B exp first, and we all basically watched. Now with gert no one is really watching because, if we're honest nothing is left to be done. Also Youtube has played a large role why no one else has emerged as a primary figure. People fade in and out on youtube, and no one can really get a grip on everyone's attention for a long amount of time.
  17. I clicked the gnome, the get across the gap option. Maybe there is a simpler way, but that's what I did.
  18. Jagex never tends to do anything as you expect them to, but maybe your right. :!:
  19. Laymen's Terms: I have more experience and knowledge of the game. There is a broader spectrum of the game's players I have met than a lot of people. Experience = knowledge = my arguments retain more water than someone with less of each. Unlike some people on this thread I don't spew out thoughts without making sure I know what I am talking about first. I'm sorry I had to dumb down my thoughts for you. I get the feeling you saw a wall of text and you turned off to reading it. That's ok though now that I've made it clearer for you. Heh, sorry, I like to know what I'm responding to. So your saying that because you've played the game longer than me, that I should listen to what you have to say? Now that I have my arrogant comment out of the way. I'm not doubting the existence of people who grind for the sake of grinding. I just don't have a problem with them like you do. I have no moral obligation to raise an attack against them.
  20. [hide=-36] -36 kg is the same as 0 kg. So there is absolutely no point having negetive weight? Whats the point of the items then? As said above, so you can carry heavier items. For example, now you could probably runecrafting with a Torag's platebody + Agile legs and still be close to 0kg. 'xcuse me, but why would you RC with a Torag platebody? :? [/hide] To avoid getting hit by the abyss or ZMI monsters.
  21. "Only implement updates"? Stop twisting my words. Jagex are releasing updates that make the game easier but not all of them are geared to it.. Such as skill capes, the quest-helper thing, grand exchange, Make X, and other easier methods of skilling. Of course, whatever floats their boats, but I can't stop to think that what the grinders do is a tad routine and boring. If everybody does the same thing, it's not exciting you know what I mean? This is starting to hurt my head. Didn't even realize I was twisting your words, sorry. I'm having a hard time understanding, how does Make X not make the game easier? Rephrase it please? Can't really argue about matters of opinion, so I won't try to dissuade you. Whatever floats their boat. I did the ape atoll agility course to get 99 so you know. I'm not a grinder, Doresh-kaan was faster. Ape had more people; in reality I'm the example your trying to prove doesn't exist. [hide=Eh?] [/hide] Jeesome, you remind me of a teacher I had last year. Going on and on about God knows what, arriving at a conclusion that no one can follow. Concise that up for me; if your still around. What dan said v I just have a problem with how you generalized everyone into not exploring. I mean I explore all the time. I led the fishing guild on a parade from nardah to the lighthouse then to relleka then to camelot. That's 45 minutes of walking. O_O So saying no one explores is just blasphemous to me. People still examine things dan come on, your acting like all us players with ADHD are gone. :P
  22. Sorry for the sort of double post tipit, too many quotes I guess, messing with the format. The problem with your experience is that you draw a biased conclusion. That's why truth isn't based in experience, it just can't be. I'm not even going to begin to respond to your post however. I don't see how some of you people write all of this stuff, and then expect others to care so much as to write a giant response. :wall: It's runescape we're talking about not cancer damnit. Stop taking things so friggin' seriously.
  23. Again, nothing has really changed. The people who act the way you describe probably aren't indicative of any larger pattern in Runescape culture. There are still plenty of people who like to explore and figure things out for themselves; you just aren't noticing them. The majority of Runescape updates are not geared towards people who grind endlessly. Those people don't need updates, because they'll just accept the status quo and grind away with whatever method they think is the best. Quests and minigames in particular make up a large part of the developers' efforts, and their target audience falls squarely in the "explorer" group. If the game loses its "unknown excitement" for you, it's because you know now; nothing has changed but your attitude. To a new player, it's still unknown. [/hide] We're not discussing the lack of explorers, but the overpopulous amount of "quicker" people. Folks who want to get everything done fast and now. Which eventually will make the game into a routine and unoriginal. The point I'm trying to make is that if people continue doing everything quickly, you're not going to have an enjoyable time playing the game. Since your concern, your only concern, is to efficiently train to be the best. Which, with a game over 10 million people, you're going to be working for a very long time. An this isn't work, its a game. And to avoid more stupid posts, I am not saying everybody is like this but there is a large number. What updates have given you an indication that Jagex is only going to impliment updates that help the grinders? Your saying things without examples or references. Games are an escape, and if people want to be totally innoculated with training a skill for a couple of hours to get away from life, why not let them? Your seemingly saying that if people aren't doing things the way you want them to, then they can't possibly be having fun. To avoid more stupid posts, make some references please.
