  1. I'm surprised they are willing to do this, but not do the same when it comes to firemaking.
  2. Nice job nje. \ [hide=] Your smithing is 80 so relatively your rank is 2/10 ish. I don't like argueing, but apparently you like being who you are. So I think we won't get too angry with each other. ^^[/hide]
  3. I find all those definitions idiotic, and I would rather speak like a normal human being. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy joking, but what are we dicussing? Is the topic of choobs interesting enough to warrant a topic?
  4. Monkfish are better cash, but Sharks make more if that's what you mean by fishing at the guild.
  5. Ussually only the leaders of those clans get profits. So you should gain around -100k or so a day.
  6. Ape Atoll is like 40-45k xp an hour with perfect laps. Ape Atoll has been clocked at 54.1k xp MAX per hour. ^ That's accurate and doable. I've had 52k/hr. I'll check this course out, even though I'm betting it blows.
  7. Looks like barrows for f2p? (You have no mention of where to get these armours either) Shouldn't this be in suggestions? EDIT: go figure they moved it
  8. This is the most interesting topic I've seen on tipit in my three years. :o
  9. Do the people who come up with these ads even try anymore? :o
  10. This isn't a patent it's a name, names flitter all around us in the air and every once in a while two people catch the same one. What the hell is the other person doing for 6 months, and why do they need the account? I say sure wipe out all the unused ones. If their sitting at tutorial island, eager to talk to the quest help guy, let's hand them over to someone else.
  11. I never really cared about the kinks in anything :D Even Olaf's quest with the stones, that part of the quest was easy if you took off all your armour and turned run off. I just don't mind kinks as much, and besides the constaint people on their periods who else did? Or am I just the most mellow guy on tipit? -.-
  12. People react to certain things instead of accepting them. If I am given a wad of cash I accept it even if it's got dirt on it. Some of our younger, and even older, peers don't react this way. All they see is the dirt. (metaphor for updates)
  13. I found the underground pass article interesting, reminsciening about spending an entire sunday in my basement 2 years ago doing that stupid quest. -.-
  14. I have an idea, Purple elegant pants enchanted top cooking hood and cape red canafis gloves and those light purple gnome boots A zamorak stole would complete it, but that's a little more expensive
  15. My character is probably neutral good, but I don't know how that benefits me. Wise old man is probably neutral evil :P
  16. So those people not on vacation have less time to play? The reverse of what your suggesting is going to make some people pay more money. Unless your doing it on a day to day payment plan. Seems expensive :D
  17. In response to your essay, who prepares to fight rev's? When I'm doing a tt or rcing through the abyss I never put anything on. I don't bring a salve ammy, and I don't take the time to fight them. They really aren't worth the effort.
  18. The gold buying problem was a result of Runescape being smaller then, and jagex recieving smaller amounts of money. As the game got larger and revenue increased, it became clear that this should be stopped. Jagex was losing money off credit card fraud, so they had to do something. The reason behind RWT was in inaction of Jagex, and not the action of players. Like britonlongbow said, people were wondering why they should obey the rules when others did not, and seemingly got away with it. Runescape will burn with the blood on Jagex's hands.
  19. Goodluck on hunter, looks like I have a name twin :o
  20. That would be called a coincidence. I don't think jagex implimented game code that detected when we help people, and subsequently rewarded us. -.- Yeh thats just luck >.> So your saying it's karma if you do something good for someone, but it's not if you don't and get lucky? :P
  21. I agree with you up to a certain level, but I mean common on this guy is distorting the facts massively. The statement that runescape has deteriorated is bull, removing RWT stopped the deterioration. This guy sounds like a pro-auto, pro-RWT nutcase. I preferred the game the way it was prior to the anti rwt updates, as did many others. So while it was necessary (they say) to make those changes, it was still a deterioration to the game. Another example of Jagex's intelligence - they finally recognized that it was easy to transfer wealth with dragonstones, so in order to 'fix' it they made the player stock stores obsolete. "Let's just place a 1:1 tokkull to gp ratio for prices in the player stock store, so if someone sells an obsidian shield another player can merrily purchase it for 280k tokkul. Who would want an onyx for that price anyways?" ... "You sir are a genius." The cheating devalued the game itself, the change was what kept the game live at all. Jagex was getting sued by credit card companies losing a lot of money. This would have resulted in the loss of the entire company, which is a huge deterioration.
