  1. I'm about to post what I have so far, I'm just going to put the text together. If anyone has some suggestions/ideas, I'd be more than glad to hear them. Edit: Normal size: [hide=To compare, same thing at 500dpi (I'm doing the entire thing in vector][/hide] It looks messy, to me can someone tell me what to do to improve it?
  2. Simplify, simplify. The less sub/forums there are, the better. After being on a certain forum where this is not a practice, which I left nearly immediately, I can tell you that this is the best policy. Your best bet is to use the YouTube sticky in Off Topic, personally I can't imagine why we would need a whole sub/forum for this.
  3. I find "Galaxy" very interesting, as well as flurry. (Ubuntu Studio)

Yeah, I feel the same. It generally disrupts my day. I could probably go without. I personally don't care about gourmet foods, but I sure enjoy eating. I put as much food as fits on my plate at lunch, otherwise I'll be hungry. But yeah, sometimes it can be annoying.

Biking through physically taxing/dangerous works well for me, and seeing as I bike both ways between school, I'm pretty chilled. Also, browsing TIF and listening to music, usually simultaneously.
  6. What does [stats] do, I've been wondering... I would probably have to know that before I know what you're talking about :P
  7. Soa basically taught the Gallery smudging in a five minute tutorial: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=756929
  8. We never did, expect a particular user decided to add it in... For your information, it happens to be the other way around. And when are you going to figure out why this forum has said name? It has been a while since this first showed up.
  9. The curve gives the engineers more space to work in. I can predict that they will find smaller components for a better price next time around, thus removing the need for a curve while being able to keep the price the same or lowering it.
  10. Be sure to come back eventually, and log onto MSN sometimes!
  11. I used to doodle, before I found how annoying it was to read a doodled-in book. The reason? In schools in my area, apparently it's ok to make notes/write down the homework in your textbook. I suppose the opinion varies a lot. Before I thought it was annoying, I thought it gave more of a personality to the books. Which it does, I suppose.
  12. Judging by their websites, Expressen. At least they don't have everything in caps, but they both had exactly the same headlines. :wall: Also, Expressen had less ads, their site didn't redirect me to a coffee advertisement before it showed me the site like Aftonbladet. Even DN is filled with ads, though, compared to our Finlandssvenskt standard of journalistic superiority Huvudstadsbladet ( http://hbl.fi/ ). And DN was full of crappy photoshops too. :P
  13. It's a lot easier for the artist to just have one, as otherwise it makes blending the sig quite complicated. That isn't to say that nobody will do it, you can see if anyone wants to. :)

As Shiny already said, the use of colors is really good in this one. Three things though: a) It's difficult to see what the focal is, I think the distractingness of the bottom left corner is contributing to that. I could be wrong. B) The text, I don't think that fonts with such a high x-height work. It could be just me though. c) The top right corner is too empty, and it makes the sig a bit unbalanced. :| Otherwise, I think it's one of your better sigs. I came up with, or rather have a WIP of a sig that I actually like for once. (I have made a million crappy sig bases that I wasn't happy with and they are now sitting around in my pictures folder.) I'm hoping to post it here later, as soon as I'm finished with a request.
  15. By brick I suppose you were referring to one of the communicators? Nokia has some very nice, lightweight and slim phones out there by the way, their old phones are a long shot from the more recent ones. And you seriously buy phones as part of a plan? Not a good idea. Buy a phone, and then buy a service. They should be independent of eachother.
  16. Aftonbladet has the journalistic value of a dead monkey. You have so many good choices of news in Swedish there, like Dagens Nyheter, and you choose aftonbladet? Seriously. (Aftonbladet, for those who don't know, is a city tabloid that exaggerates everything in 150 pt text on the front.)
  17. Oooh, Julius has a girlfriend! Sorry, I just couldn't resist. Anyway, about the sig. Some colors than green would be nice. :P Something that would fit well in here would be some pentooling, I think anyway.

    We wish.
  19. Nice modification of TIFblack :XD:
  20. I also love http://reader.google.com , http://answers.yahoo.com/ , http://en.wikipedia.org , http://sv.wikipedia.org , http://uncyclopedia.org (Caution: Uncyclopedia rules are decidedly less strict than those of TIF) http://sourceforge.org , http://ubuntustudio.org ,
  21. I would think your shop would be locked by now, but I think the mods won't do a lock request until you edit out the entire first post. Save the bbcode to a .txt file first, you never know when you might want to start it up again. ;)
  22. The iPhone is very high on my list of hated Apple products. Why is it so expensive, when most of it runs on public source software?
  23. You do realize there's a reason for that?
