Bailout, American economy, and failing businesses
Yeah, there's an international station. They are progressively broadcasting less and less of NPR, they used to have half an hour of Talk of the nation, which I found extremely interesting, then an hour of All things considered, then some Canadian polar Bear Calvary. Now it's just All things considered for a bit. :( I'm thinking of writing to the broadcaster asking for moar NPR. :x NPR is a great source for unbiased news though.

New New Nano
That's awesome, I have always wanted to put Linux on an iPod. I haven't heard of Rockbox though, what's the difference between that and iPodlinux? And by the way, I don't know what's the big deal about accelerometers. It's old technology, been around for years.

Bailout, American economy, and failing businesses
Seriously, I listened to a 15-minute interview of some financhial advisor or something on NPR, as well as hearing other programs on FM&FM, and I still have no Idea what it is about. This all confuses me.

The fact remains that iTunes supports DRM at all. That in itself is too much.

New New Nano
I am definitely not an Apple fan of any kind. iTunes still has DRM. Darwin's APSL isn't a free software license, just some crappy imitation. You can't legally install Leopard on any hardware other than that of Apple's. They have a ways to go before they get me to buy any of their products.

Hey, wait a minute... Isn't this scheduled to happen in just a few minutes? I won't have school today in that case.

Wow, Apple failed. What the heck were they thinking? That is nowhere near Nanoish at all.

Kids, honestly what do you want from yours?
Naah, I was more saying that no parenthood will go as you want it to be.

Problem With My Parents Internet Browser
That's a bit harsh, dsavi... Yes, 'Ouchy_S' should change back to the default theme. But, 'Ouchy_S' should give them a tutorial. DO NOT drop them into it in some cold manner!!! :shame: ~Snip Snip~ ~Mr. D. V. Devnull I don't think a tutorial is necessary. The UI is nearly exactly the same. And in any case, it needs to be done in the name of progress. And that with an IE skin, that's actually a good idea...

Problem With My Parents Internet Browser
Teach your parents a lesson. Change the theme back, make them use Firefox. They don't know what's good for them. I would like to say that I did that, but it was my dad who introduced me to FF. And my mom gets really pissed when I try to get her to use it. I really should try something more drastic.

Moving
Yeah, I've moved before. Three times. The first time, when I lived in Minnesota, we moved to a bigger house. Then we moved to Finland. :P Then we again, moved to a bigger house (We were renting the other one) and that's where I am. As long as Lyra doesn't show up I have the best moving story.

Google Chrome
Oh no! Firefox is screwed! Anyone who thinks that IE has serious capability for taking over the Firefox user base is wrong. IE is years behind Firefox. And as a web designer, I hate IE. It doesn't render anything correctly, and isn't web standards compliant. Take a look for yourself, use IE6 and switch the forum theme to TIFblack. AARGH! Now you see why I keep a portable installation of Firefox everywhere I go.
