Is there anything that can't kill you?-No supercannons!
Hmm... :-k Got one! How about light travelling away from you?

Baby Thrown on Ground & Killed
It's a shame that someone would snap like that in that situation, but it probably happens fairly frequently when parents with low stress tolerance have to look after a screaming child. Personally, I can't stand small kids, but I don't actually throw them.

Which is better: Circle or Square?
Oh, circles, definitely. Witness the power of the closed curve.

The Inauguration of Barrack Obama: So Annoying
The media has blown it out of proportion. The president's identity, family, history, and appearance are not important. What is important for everyone is how he deals with the crises of the day when he's sitting at that really nice desk, instead of the irrelevant symbolism that has splurged through our TV screens. I'm interested in what he's doing now, but I changed channels if anything came up about Obama/McCain/Hillary/The election before he was inaugurated. Kudos to him, but I want to listen to a president doing what a president is supposed to do.

Parts of RuneScape I ignore
I religiously ignore Farming. For some reason, my attention-span drops like an airborne penguin as soon as I attempt it. Gnomeball and the Rat Pits, although the latter really deserves more attention. The former is beyond help, it is inherently useless. Bounty Hunter, but that's just because PvP is not my thing. Dorgesh-Kann, it's a very nicely designed area that has barely any consistent use.

Odd symbols... Saradomin related to Dragonkin: proof?
The Zamorak symbol is supposed to represent horns, and brute force (think raging bull), but I don't think it matters which way up it goes. Either that, or there was an original and it got modified over time. The Saradomin Star is derived from the dragonkin crest, but it's probably copypasta, not some kind of secret meaning. I've never seen that brown symbol before, but the symbolism is there. The Sun (Tumeken is the Sun god), the idea of many surrounding a single being, and the brown colour may represent desert rock. The Seren symbol is obvious. That's a piece of crystal, which the elves claim contain Seren's life-force. She is a goddess literally made of crystal. Of course, it's light blue because crystal is that colour.

If life on mars was found....
Uh, last time I checked, the Bible doesn't rule out the possibility of extraterrestrial life. I hope life is found anywhere other than Earth too, if it exists, but don't bash the Christians on this one. :( No, but the Bible does say that if humans can come in contact with extraterrestrial life, then so can the devil, which contradicts the Bible's teachings that Earth is the only sinful planet. Right. Please give me a few Bible quotes to back yourself up on this one. As far I know, the Bible asserts that all humans are capable of sin, Earth is inherently good (or at least lacks the capability to sin). I have heard of no mention that only terrestrial civilisations are capable of sin, though. You might be confusing the word 'heaven' here. Heaven is more of an alternative existence than what is actually in the sky. Heavenly beings, the Devil and God do not live on another planet. :geek: Look, please just leave Christianity alone, it has nothing to do with alien lifeforms. :(

Laws Should Still Be Quest Only
Because before the trade limit you could still do law running by standing outside the altar and trading with the crafters when they come out. That's not possible with the assist system. The reason other quest altars weren't changed was because they were located in quest-only areas, so it wasn't possible to do death running or astral running anyway unless you had already done the quests. I'm pretty sure it's not beyond Jagex to extend the assist system to Runecrafting, although it would have to function differently to other skills. I mean, Runecrafting is probably the most reliant skill on assisting than any other. Its not so much about the xp/hr, its about the assisting system mechanics. You can only assist to someone who is within range of the minimap with you. The outside of alters and inside of alters are much farther apart due to everything being one 1 level. So its impossible to assist someone inside and another outside the alter because their more than 16 squares apart. They changed it so people could go in the alters, and then use the assist since its within the 16 square range that way. That was why it was changed. There are ways to adjust it, but im not sure its worth the trouble to do so. Its fine how it is right now I think. Fair enough, but I still feel Jagex copped out of the effort somewhat. Even if it was an irrelevant reward to a quest (who thought trolls had anything to do with crafting magic law runes? :? ), it at least had some substance compared to xp lamps. Sure, everybody would like xp lamps, but it's a really unimaginative reward. They could have at least replaced the reward with something else unique.

Shakespeare
I would have probably appreciated Shakespeare more if I wasn't forced to write analytical essays like Jem. It just wrecks them. :| Must admit though, he was a genius. :)

PvP armour , give it a use!
I must admit, so many millions for an hour is unreasonably expensive. You either have to lower the price or increase the power. I'm for increasing the power, because the principle of the PvP sets is a good idea, and Jagex will take it upon themselves as the authority in item prices, and they will never get it right anyway . [minirant]Damn you Jagex, let us set the prices already... [/minirant] They should only degrade during combat, not just wearing. I reckon they should increase the probability of PvP only drops (like Brawling Gloves, Corrupt Dragon and more PvP armour/weapons). Maybe introduce some new rare and useful reward (untradable would be a bonus here) that you can only get if you make a kill using a PvP set?

Odd Tendency? Bank slot holder
Actually it's fairly common, although I haven't brought myself to do it. I'm just waiting for a 'lock slot' option for the banks. Hopefully I'll get it this year (upgrade year ftw ).

Heh, ok, fine. Problem solved... for now. :)

Treat BoB as inventory.
Better suggestion than that of the original poster's. Too bad you can already do that... Sorry, I explained it horribly. At the moment, it's just one item at a time. It would be better if it worked more intelligently. Say, if you have 27 logs and a knife, you use one log on the familiar and it dumps the logs but not the knife. Either that, or make it identical to the Deposit Box. Use, familiar, 'All'. Instead of Right-click, Store, Right-click, 'Store All', Close. Even better, an option to choose between the two.

If life on mars was found....
I'd like to see your sources. McKay and co-workers applied a very thin coating of gold and palladium. Sometimes this coating can obscure or change surface features. McKay and his co-workers tested for these kinds of artificial features by examining other rock samples besides ALH 84001 that had been treated exactly the same as the ALH 84001 samples with the bacteria shapes. McKay and co-workers did not see the bacteria-shaped features on the other samples, and did not see them on samples of ALH 84001 without carbonate mineral globules. The found that the gold-palladium coating did leave a very fine cracked surface on the samples, but much smaller than the bacteria-shaped objects. So, they conclude that the bacteria shapes in ALH 84001 were not accidental products (artifacts) of sample handling and preparation. Source: http://www.lpi.usra.edu/lpi/meteorites/life.html Nobody is claiming to have found martian bacteria. We very well may have found fossils of Martian bacteria, however. From that same site: I was initially taking from my Physics teacher, but your site has sufficient counter-arguments. I have been too certain, but there's just the simple problem that it's so difficult to get conclusive evidence from a single meteor. And with something like this, mistakes and misinterpretations are all too likely. It is evidence, but I'm far from convinced.

An epiphany that needs disproving
This feller right here ain't never heard of a photon, mmhm. Depends how you look at it. You're saying particle, I'm saying wave. Erk. :? I don't really know enough about photons to get around this, though. Any help?

If life on mars was found....
You mean the 'bacteria' that actually turned out to be lumps in the gold covering which scientists put there to help with the imaging process? Seriously, they weren't bacteria nor fossils. If they were, you would have heard about it. I don't think I could predict what would happen if we found life on a neighbouring planet. It's such a crazy situation anything could happen.

Muslim Radicalism - Good or Bad? (Justified or Not)
As yes, the typical stereotype of a person who's developed their opinion on what they saw on the news. Can you even count the amount of Muslims you know on one hand? He did say large minority. I think we can agree that there's too many psychopathic Muslims, even if they are a minority. It's not unreasonable to think that the number of people who are easily led (to become extremists, psychopaths, whatever) are of the same density in any religious bracket. It's just that Islam (and Arabic culture) has been provoked to the point that the easily led minority of Muslims are actually being led towards these unjustified beliefs. So, it's not a case of 'too many psychopathic Muslims', it's a case of too many people guiding them in the wrong direction. Can anybody think of an acceptable justification for killing yourself and other people around you, who have not interacted with you in any way? Not only have the reasons given failed to justify the action, the action is unjustifiable in any scenario.

Pjers-Ruining RS PVP
Actually, it's both. You are supposed to get loot from demonstrating your ability (or 'skills', even though this is an ambiguous term) to defeat other players by doing so. PJing is a problem, and measures need to be taken to make it difficult enough so legitimately fighting a player is much more profitable. People who do it are not doing anything inherently wrong, they are allowed to do it, but it should difficult and should definitely not be profitable.

Oscar Grant (police brutality)
Careful, you don't know the whole picture. It is not perfect evidence, there is no such thing.

Ohio Teen Killed Mom Over Video Game
Obviously there was some pre-existing serious issues there, and the media just latched on to the game, which almost certainly did not solely cause him to shoot his parents. It was merely a 'snapping point'.

Treat BoB as inventory.
Good idea! I'd like it if you could simply 'use' the item with your familiar to store it, as well.

Whip.
No, the whip is too much of a 'general use' weapon as it is.
